A crematorium will be built in Perm

The construction of the crematorium in Perm will begin in 2012. A building will be built on the territory of the new Vostochny cemetery in the Motovilikhinsky district of the city, reports on Wednesday, June 22, Business-Class with reference to a source in the city administration.

The need for the construction of a new cemetery and the crematorium, of course, is, noted in the city administration. There are only 19 cemeteries in the city of Perm, of which about 14 are already closed for burial. Cremation can significantly reduce the area of ​​burials, but relatives themselves have the right to choose a method of burial of the deceased, the city authorities say.

To date, the total area of ​​the cemetery with the crematorium is more than 51 hectares, of which about 30 hectares are given for traditional burial, and the area of ​​the crematorium will be 21 hectares. The construction project of the crematorium, which was held by the examination, has already been developed, received a positive agreement on experts and is completely ready for implementation. The project is allocated for the construction of the crematorium 24 months. Also, the construction of columbaria is expected in the cemetery.
