In Moscow, a military parade was held on Red Square dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. The event was attended by more than two dozen foreign leaders, including President Xi Jinping, President of Serbia Alexander Vucich, Prime Minister of Slovakia Robert Fitzo.
Vladimir Putin, in his speech at the parade, practically did not mention the war in Ukraine. He only noted that all of Russia supports his participants, and promised that the country would always remain "an indestructible obstacle for Nazism, Russophobia, anti -Semitism."
The parade was attended by more than 11 thousand military personnel, including those who are fighting in Ukraine. In the stands, along with officials, journalists identified the military suspected of murders of civilians in Ukraine. - signing an agreement on sending funds from Russian assets in support of Ukrainian defense;
- Meeting of the coalition of states to create a special tribunal to crime aggression against Ukraine.
According to him, the European Union agreed to allocate about 1.9 billion euros for military support of Ukraine. As part of the assistance, weapons for Ukraine will be purchased at the expense of income from frozen Russian assets through the European Fund of the World.
A billion euros from this amount will be aimed at buying weapons according to the so -called “Danish model” - directly from Ukrainian manufacturers. More than 600 million euros will be aimed at artillery and ammunition, and more than 200 million euros - to strengthen Ukrainian air defense.
Also, European ministers and diplomats at a meeting in Lviv supported the creation of a special tribunal to crime Russian aggression against Ukraine. As expected, formally the tribunal (it received the unofficial name “Tribunal for Putin”) will be launched next week in Luxembourg, where a meeting of the Council of Ministers of the Council of Europe will be held on May 13-14.
As it is assumed, an investigation will undergo an investigation against the top leadership of Russia as part of the tribunal - about two dozen officials from the list compiled by Ukraine. Eugene (Israel). A few words about Victory Day. My father was born exactly two years before the war, now he is 86 years old. He remembers May 9, 1945, he was almost six. I was born 20 years after the victory. All my childhood and a large half of my life passed under the sign “No War!” My generation is children of the children of war. From the infancy, I knew that the Soviet Union and the Allies - the USA, England, France - overcame German fascism together. Veterans are also part of my life, and they were not only guests of the school. My neighbor was Ivan Filippovich Mitrofanov, a peasant of a low stature. He went through the war, liberated my native Narva, and remained there. Before the holiday and on May 9, he drove strongly, and in this state told me, a ten -year -old kid, a terrible truth about the war. This truth diverged very much with what was shown on TV, but I felt that the truth is what he was saying, or not the heroic that they showed on the screen.
So, the truth is that the Soviet Union and allies achieved a great victory. The role of allies has always been recognized. I’ll say a thing sedentary for current Russians: your country as a state did not take part in the Second World War or the Great Patriotic War, because there was no such state. There was a Soviet Union. In the same way, the states did not participate in these wars neither Ukraine, nor Belarus, nor the rest of the former republics of the Union. They were not states, they had no independence - neither economic nor political. They were screws, parts of that huge state, that country that won. And the victory was one at all - for Russians, Ukrainians, Belarusians, Georgians, Jews, Uzbeks, Tajiks and other representatives of the peoples who inhabited the Soviet Union. Do not “we can repeat!”, But “no war!”, “We need peace!” - Under this motto passed the life of post -war generations.
In the last two decades, Russia slowly but confidently crawled into fascism and became the country of the victorious rashism. The Nazis arrange a parade as a sign of victory over fascism - is this not a sur. White became black, black white, and Russia, it turns out, participated in the war and won. The victory, like the holy holiday, privatized and uses the country, which has become fascist. Ukraine is fighting precisely with the followers of fascism, this should be clearly understood. "We can repeat!" The world saw in Buch, Irpen, Kyiv, Kharkov, Sumy. The destruction of civilians, atrocities is fascism. The calls and actions to destroy the whole people of the whole country are fascism. If it is not stopped now, he will go to Europe.
Victory Day was a victim of Russia's policy. Nevertheless, I remember who, which countries broke the ridge of German fascism. The countries that defeated fascism is already not for 34 years, but what has grown on its ruins, everyone sees for themselves.
