MDM Bank captures plants at a time when everyone is trying to take away everyone
The struggle against the oligarchs in our country, apparently, will always be conducted by special, non -standard methods. While some influential businessmen are asked to “finish” mines of dollars into the treasury, others allow others to act more suitable for the “Wild West”. This is obviously due to the fact that the universal opinion of the end of the influence of the “family” on the country's economy was erroneous and all businessmen involved in the Kremlin environment still continue to frolic on the so-called legal field under the supervision of a new president
There is a redistribution of property in the metallurgical industry. And more precisely, about the Kuznetsk Ferroalloy plant, located in the city of Novokuznetsk, Kemerovo region. Around it, events unfold that can be safely called unique. In mid -1999, citizens of Yugoslavia addressed the leadership of the plant, who presented the leaders of the branch of the famous ABV concern in Russia. As it turned out later, the ABV concern had nothing to do with the deal with the shares of the Kuznetsk Ferroalloy and was not going to buy them.
The Ugoslav’s commercial offers consisted with him at the nominal value of about 30% of the stake in “Kuznetsk Ferroalloye” shares, which, incidentally, melts about 65% of Russian ferrosilication, and without it it is impossible to create high -quality steels. As their contribution, new shareholders of Yugoslav origin were supposed to provide investments of $ 5 million and create conditions for expanding the sale of products. They managed to buy only 15%, since they did not fulfill a single promise, and the leadership of the plant suspended the deal and contacted law enforcement agencies.
The Yugoslavs, in turn, began to quickly buy up shares in the secondary market (apparently using the same 5 million that were supposed to go to investment). However, a stake package was still very small in order to shift the legal leadership of the plant, which, despite all these troubles, continued to pay salaries, taxes and fulfill obligations to its partners. The production work established in recent years has been affected.
The leadership of the Kuznetsk Ferroalloy also had another ill -wisher - the owner of the Latvian “Ventspil port” Oleg Stepanov, who, in particular, has a greater debt to the enterprise. For example, he still operates in his port of 30 locomotives purchased with the money of “Kuznetsk Ferroalloye”, not paying for them a cent of 10 million dollars that they cost. To give them at present - it means you need to look for loans. And given that in recent years the port turning is constantly reduced, it will not be easy to get money in banks.
Ventspil Port has about 13% of the company's shares. And for Oleg Stepanov, a chance appeared together with the Yugoslavs to remove creditors, solving their financial problems. However, both Yugoslavs and Stepanov are foreign citizens, and their displacement of the leadership of the Russian strategic enterprise could make a lot of noise.
Law enforcement agencies that became interested in such strange transformations in the field of redistribution of property could intervene. The local authorities, who were interested in the stable work of the plant, at which the thousands of a long -term team, was also engaged in this. And then the Yugoslavs and Mr. Stepanov decided to turn to the MDM Bank. If anyone does not know or forgot, I would like to remind you that the name of this bank and the surname Abramovich, the mamut in the media met with the same frequency and meant, in general, the same thing-the “family”.
D Alche began the most interesting. The leadership of the MDM Bank, apparently feeling so confident that it didn’t even even prove that it really acts on behalf of the shareholders who own the control package, and whether these shareholders really have a control bag, tried to shift the legal director of the plant Sergey Zhilyakov. At the same time, such important moments in the legal state as a meeting of shareholders and the decision of the board of directors were missed.
Representatives of the MDM Bank simply came to the plant and said that now he has a new director. And in order for these “wild” actions to look more impressive, almost half of the leadership of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Kemerovo Region came with them, accompanied by an expert with a movie camera, it is obvious that this is important for the capital’s commercial and local law enforcement agencies.
During the conversation between the management of the enterprise and representatives of the MDM Bank, it turned out that uninvited guests are well aware of the illegality of their actions, but nevertheless insisted on their own, hoping that Sergei Zhilyakov will succumb to blackmail and release his chair “in a good way”. In the end, they left, promising, however, to return. Apparently, with the same goals and with the same company.
Tu , that MDM Bank is accustomed to acting such methods is not surprising. In the end, Yugoslav and Stepanov, not knowing all the “underwater trends” of Russian corruption, was not in vain to them. It is strange that the local structures of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, even given the desire of the central authority to restore order in the field, went on such actions in support of the illegal requirements of the capital's businessmen. Apparently, the representatives of the MDM Bank brought them such arguments, "from which they could not refuse." Perhaps their actions were performed at the direction of one of the major officials of the Kemerovo administration. In this case, Aman Tuleyev should take a closer look at his environment.
PS I would like to hope that someday in Russia such “showdowns” will stop using each side of their proximity to power structures. Perhaps we will still find the time when everything will be decided only in court and all interested persons in their actions will be guided only by the norms of the law, and not their “coolness”.
