Kit's voice for flute, cello and piano, Bergson's watch for Flate Solo and other works for the flute of modern composers
The Center for Modern Music at the Moscow State Conservatory named after P. I. Tchaikovsky represents a concert of Flautissimo, consisting of works for the Flate Solo and as part of the ensemble.
The variety of flade literature of the twentieth century is not exhausted by the standard repertoire that arose in the first half of the last century and brought this tool on a solo scene after its long absence of it for almost the entire 19th century. From ordinary competitive plays and sonata, new solo genres have grown. Among them are a kind of miniature concerts with an unusual composition (at Andre Zholiv ), essays with electronics or written according to electronic models ( Philip Leroy, Kaya Sariaho, Michael Levinas ), music with jazz elements and special effects ( George Krum, Theo Liveveldi ).
In terms of a variety of sound techniques that modern composers offer, the flute exceeds many other wind instruments - just listen to at least one play of Sharrino . Two wonderful fluttors, soloists of the ensemble of the Studio of New Music , will present us this picture of the amazing sound variety of one of the oldest instruments in the world, as it appears at the front line of modern music.
