The governor of the Arkhangelsk region Igor Orlov said that the pontoons emitting radiation to the banks of the White Sea after the explosion at the Military training ground in Nonox will be disposed of. He wrote about this on August 13 on the VKontakte page.

He stated that laboratory tests of sea water, soil and plants showed that there were no threats to the population and the environment.

The explosion at the military training ground near Severodvinsky occurred on August 8. As a result of the accident, five employees of the Rosatom State Corporation died. The Ministry of Defense did not reveal the details of the tests.
