Five militants were killed, three were detained.

According to the regional department of the FSB, this morning in Makhachkala, special forces soldiers stormed the apartment in which the militants were hiding. One of them is killed. The woman who was in the apartment surrendered.

On Saturday, during special operations in other areas of Makhachkala, four militants were killed, three were arrested.

There are no victims among law enforcement officers and civilians.

The Investigative Committee at the Russian Prosecutor's Office opened criminal cases.
