In the world of biathlon , they have long been accustomed to her, they always treat her as a very dangerous opponent, although they understood that in her career outstanding results always coexisted with ridiculous failures. The first one includes a wig in the persecution race of 48 seats - a record set by Daria at the 2009 World Championships. To the second - absurd shooting at someone else's target at the stage of the World Cup in Oberhof in 2010 (and Domracheva then confidently leaded in the race). But at the 2014 Games, Domrachev, as they say, "broke out". Games are in full swing, and she is already a three -time Olympic champion. Having won the persecution race, an individual race and mass start, Daria established a unique achievement: before her, no one in the world won three Olympic gold medals in individual disciplines. In relay races, that is, in command species, this happened. For example, the great in the recent past, the German biathletist Katya Wilhelm also has three “gold” Olympiads, but one of them is just in the relay. But Daria Domracheva was still deprived of these "team joys." In the biathlon, she has to rely only on herself - there are few worthy biathletes in Belarus. True, it seems that her teammates are gradually starting to “pull up” behind Domracheva - for example, Nadezhda Scardino, who in Sochi became a bronze medalist in an individual race. Perhaps the example of Domracheva will help her country with the development of biathlon.
