Valery Vinokurov: It just so happened that our anniversary four -hundredth release goes on tragic days when the whole world is shocked by the death of Shattla Columbia. And last week, Moscow said goodbye to Valery Brumel, on Monday it will be 9 days from the date of his death. The historian and sociologist Yuri Tepper recalls an outstanding athlete.

Yuri Topper: In April 97, I met Valery Brumel in the Moscow Bibli-Globus store. His last book was sold. Buyers were delicious. Brumel, stingyly smiling, signed on copies. His face seemed alienated, almost indifferent. For several minutes we talked about the life of Valery in Lviv, where he trained under the guidance of a smart and cheerful coach Dmitry Zavbarius, an old friend of our family. Communication was polite and dull. Valery has long lost interest in the past.

About two years ago, in an interview, Brumel frankly admitted himself as a loser. Marvelous. It seems that all the trump cards were in their hands. What a glory! The name of Brumel stood among the heroes, where Yuri Gagarin was right -flank. The champion was patronized by the highest party authorities. The record holder-Olympian three times was the first in the nomination "Best Athlete of the World". He worked selflessly, lived easily and beautifully. The authorities were condescending to some front of the champion. In the "Young Guard" series "Sports and Personality" the book of Brumel "Height" appeared, in some places acute and critical. The author, of course, knew everything about sports. After the fatal injury, Brumel tried to earn a living by writing. The story "Dr. Nazarov", the plays "Olympic Comedy", "Road of the Tribunes" were published. But in order to become a writer, the Lord of the Duma, Brumel, alas, did not have enough talent. There was no question of lobbying a literary career. The ex-champion has long been deleted from the list of officially permitted critics of Soviet sports. Only a new feat could save the situation. Brumel decided. The champion went into the sector again. But what could the jumping jacket do, licking at a height, with a foot, literally composed of fragments? To restore the status, the impossible was required - set a record. The film, filmed by director Timur Zoliev, was called "The right to jump." The director hinted at the possibilities of returning the champion. But this, alas, was a bluff.

Valery became a victim of his own image. He wanted to look like an authority, a person living discreetly and dignity, feeling the significance of his words and actions.

From the "catastations" of the 90s and perturbations in domestic sports, many champions came out skillfully. Old ties worked, survival skills helped, the ability to calculate the situation, take risks and not fail in the case. But one condition was required. It was necessary to transplant in the new social world and the system of values. Permanem is to die. So the grain dies, giving a new sprout. Valery Brumel did not. Either the world of new relations seemed alien to him, or the experience of a meaningless assault on height was recalled. I take off the last book of Brumel from the shelf. It is called: "Not changing to yourself." It remains to recall the exact remark of Jean Paul Sartre: "Words shoot."

Oleg Vinokurov: Yuri Tepper noticed, perhaps, the main line of Valery Brumel - non -conformism. To the best of our strengths, we have been trying for almost eight years for our program to differ in the same way. And, of course, efficiency. This Sunday, the world championship in skiing began, which also has its own courageous heroes. The philosopher Nikolai Zyuzev reflects on this subject.

Nikolai Zyuzev: When Hermann Mayer almost lost his leg as a result of a road disaster, it seemed that another fabulous sports story was over. Finished dramatic and unfair. The promise of the skier to return only added bitterness. He did not appear on the tracks and by the beginning of this season. From unsuccessful attempts to return to big sport over time, some imagination, deceit, suddenly appeared in it. The ambitions already seemed empty, it began to turn only into an occasion for a newspaper cod. And yet he returned. And at the stage of the World Cup in Kitzbuel, he was already the same formidable “Herminator”, again after a long break, ascending to the upper step of the podium.

Jean Baudrian, one of the fathers of the philosophy of postmodernism, says that the modern world has lost authenticity, it already consists of the so -called simulacra. The simulacrum is a philosophical category that indicates that a certain phenomenon has become empty, it has nothing left but the concept itself. And this concept does not correlate with reality, but only with itself. In modern sports, you can find an abundance of simulacra, phenomena and facts that you really want to "try on the tooth" to make sure of their authenticity. Take at least some strange results of last year's football championship in the world. Moreover, it is useless to fight with the void, it reproduces herself and multiplies to infinity. Well, indeed, how to stop, for example, the "epidemic" of doping, in packs cloning the champions pumped up by steroids! Hermann Mayer also repeated himself, but did not do it on postmodernists, but in the old fashioned way - in his unique, unique style of flying the Super Gigant highway. And then embarrassedly covered his eyes with gloves, hiding what no one expected from the iron "germinator" - tears. Therefore, their genuance was no doubt. The return of Mayer in time was strangely "rifted" with the departure of Valery Brumel. After all, the great athlete survived the same drama as the Austrian. In the same way, in his prime, he fell into a road catastrophe, and also on a motorcycle, and the doctors also said that they would have to part with his foot. Brumel returned to the jump sector. True, he was no longer destined to win. Why, this question is different - another sports specificity, perhaps, was heavier or not so completely treatment. Or maybe Mayer was just easier. After all, it is one thing - obeying the strength of earthly attraction, it is easy to slide down. And quite another, overcoming this force pulling down, fly in height.

As far as I know, so far, despite the scandalous failure of the Russian Olympians beyond the ocean, the trowing of the rope continues between the OCD and state sports about the leading role in the allegedly patriotic event called the Olympic Ball. Shortly before the New Year, about a month and a half ago, a colleague addressed me, who proposed to jointly write a script for a party disguised as an Olympic ball. Then, in the course of discussing the issue of his financial support, he first heard about the existence of a little well -known organization - non -profit partnership "Health and Sports".

I would dare to call him the modern Dubler NFS, which, incidentally, continues to function imperceptibly. However, any copying of a particular idea has a great chance to turn into tragifars. The fact is that the “health and sports”, which was unimportant in its structure and personnel composition, was initially conceived as the younger brother of “sports Russia”. Let me remind you that we are talking about the stillborn attempt by the chairman of the state sports of Fetisov - on the eve of the parliamentary and presidential elections in Russia - in one line of domestic athletes. Where is this vaunted batch of athletes of the new convocation? Now the deceased criminal leader Otari Kvantrishvili, the formation of such shock brigades was much better than twice the Laureate of the Stanley Cup, the great friend of Vyacheslav Ivankov, who has been registered in one of the American prisons for several years under the creative pseudonym "Japanchik".

So, "Sports Russia" died so died. But "Health and Sports", sorry for the pun, excellently live. At the end of last year, thirty -three thousand Russian firms and organizations of the widest profile received a colorful postcard with a portrait of Vyacheslav Fetisov and his scarce autograph. On the back, one could read the text of the Christmas congratulations, but the softly presented invitation of cooperation with the newly -made Dubler NFS. It was a voluntary financial contribution to joint investment projects.

The poor Russian outback responded to a request from Moscow: a small stream, but the money flowed to the bank account of the non -profit partnership "Health and Sports". And then the most interesting begins: who and how will distribute the funds received? Already pushed aside until recently, who acted as the head of "Sports Russia" of a certain Mr. Mazur, a long -standing friend Fetisov. The ex-Minister of Sports of Russia Tarpishchev prudently decided not to enter the same river twice and refused the vacant place of the party functionary. Another “dark horse” is put to this place - Mr. Vatagin, submariner, young hero of Russia.

What next? The informed persons will not wait when President Vladimir Putin puts the competitors of Fetisov and Tyakachev at one table to force these two friends to work together, hand in hand. Both in party construction, and in the filling of the wallet. In big politics, these problems have already been resolved. It remains to pull up a big sport.

According to the sociological service "Gellap Media", the number of spectators who watch the programs 7T stably occupies the last place among all channels broadcasting from Moscow.

Here are the latest data. The average daily channel in Moscow is 0.44%; Throughout Russia - 0.5%. Let me remind you that sociologists call the attitude of the number of TVs set to this channel to the total number of TVs included at the moment.

For comparison, although I understand that this comparison is absolutely incorrect, the average daily share of Channel One in Moscow is 18.73%.

Surprise the low numbers of 7V in Russia. After all, this channel is one of the few that works around the clock, and at night all the most interesting programs are repeated. And the most interested fans, slightly underpluging and changing the stationary antenna to a regular wire, can see a broadcast that family members did not let him see in the daytime. And if the “night fans” of 7TV (especially in peripheral cities) exist, they would have to significantly increase the average daily fraction of the channel.

Only in order to convince the listeners how poor the sports ether of the public channels is, and, without calling the various transfers of the NTV-Plus, I will highlight only a few programs, which, in my opinion, are of greatest interest for a Russian sport lover.
