Loving old films, we often say that nostalgia for the past is a longing for lost innocence and naivety of past years. Isn't that the secret of Glory Shirley Temple? A tiny girl, with her head covered with curls (before shooting, mother laid her hair in exactly 52 neat curls) - you can’t imagine the best symbol of innocence. However, the popularity of Shirley Temple in the 30s had nothing to do with the past, it was the heroine of our time. And what naivety will you find from a three -year -old movie star? Shirley Temple jokingly said that she stopped believing in Santa Claus - Santa Claus, when her mother first brought her to Christmas to the department store to introduce him, and Santa Klaus asked her an autograph. Shirley Temple is a purely American phenomenon. In the Soviet Union, they tried to repeat it, creating a variant of Shirley - Natasha Obipina. It is known that the economic crisis was the reason for the unprecedented success of Hollywood. Spectators gave the last pennies to watch peppy and funny films that give them strength to struggle for life. The little heroine Shirley Temple knows everything, everything can, sings and dances better than adult stars, smiles better than anyone, never loses hope and always achieves her own. This child is a symbol not of the innocence of America, but its eternal youth and optimism. Having matured, Shirley Temple could no longer carry these ideas from the screen, but continues to do this in other roles. There is no reward that could be appreciated by the merits of this wonderful woman.
