Feast of protest

The initiative group of voters protesting against falsification of elections, organizing today's "Came Festival", came across strong resistance to the city authorities. According to them, there are no places for celebration in the city, so they did not want to accept the notification of the action by closing the administration building on Friday at 13 o’clock on Friday.

Says an activist of the initiative group Sergey Razvorotnev:

- This is a peaceful meeting of residents with some festive element. Candidate Novikov won a real, not a false victory. And, despite the fact that the administration has a false inauguration, we seem to celebrate victory, celebrate with residents, with those people who cast their votes to Novikov. The administration is trying to stop us from. From there they constantly call our activists and say: how is it that you have not received permission in the administration, but you will disperse riot police there, but how do you pat it?!

The election of Igor Novikov in his election headquarters is confirmed by certified immediately after counting the votes with copies of the protocols from each of the 34 polling stations. In addition, in several areas, the voting results were illegally canceled. This is already disassembled by the Central Election Commission. Igor Novikov explains how an unsightly story should end in Zhukovsky:

- the validity of the lifting of elections in the areas in which 6,000 Zhukovites participated, the decision for each of them, after that, summarizing the results of the elections, and after that bringing to criminal liability of those who undermined the elections. Dozens of calls from ordinary residents, from pilots, from heroes are constantly heard. I clearly understand that these are the townspeople who were roughly deceived. 6000 thousand inhabitants who came to polling stations suddenly crossed out of the final protocols. Just understanding and seeing according to the documents what happened in Zhukovsky, the Central Election Commission can restore the results of the precinct election commissions. And then they will not need long -term litigation.

Sergey Pravorotnev says that activists are inspired by the scale of falsification:

- Recently, one official called, he is engaged in election campaigns. He says: no longer needs to be engaged in elections - he took the protocol, replaced, barricaded in the administration and that’s all. Do you understand how people from power interpret all these events? If they win, a terrible precedent will be created.

That is why today Zhukovsky residents are signed under the appeal to the President of the country with a request to fulfill their constitutional duty and ensure the guaranteed right of citizens to elect and be elected. But a couple of hours before the "Feast of Citizen" in Zhukovsky, according to Sergei Razvorotnev, the following occurred:

- Three cars arrived with riot police, detained three of our activists who were collecting signatures under the appeal to the president. They were detained groundlessly. The chief of public security police himself detained, who stated that activists were detained to clarify the personality, although all three presented passports.

By the middle of the day, it became known that the "Feast of Protest" in Zhukovsky nevertheless took place.
