A rally of protest against sealing development was held in Samara

In Samara, on Sunday, a rally of protest against sealing development and violation of land use rules was held.

As the Radio Liberty correspondent Sergei Khazov reports, a rally organized by the Volya party and the public movement "For Justice!" Passed under the slogan "Whose are you - Samara land?"

More than a thousand Samara residents participated in the protest on Kirov Square. At the rally, residents of the city criticized Samara City Hall for mass sealing development, which is carried out at the site of city parks and playgrounds.

Samars also talked about mistakes in the design of water pipelines that occur due to the inconsistency of the conducted construction of design documentation and that the townspeople do not notify the public hearings that are held on the issues of re-registration of land.

According to the representatives of the Volya party, on the eve of the protest, unknown persons put manuscript leaflets with provocative inscriptions next to the area where the rally was planned.

Participants in the protest rally signed an appeal to the authorities with a demand to understand the situation with the sealing development and privatization of land in Samara.
