In January, the project "Faces of the XXI Century" started on the website of our newspaper. We invited readers to reflect on the future of their children, about their dreams, about how they - parents and young heroes themselves see the world in which they live. Stories should be illustrated by photographs of children (from 1 year to 16 years old). We post texts and photos on the “OG” website, and its visitors vote within a month for children, the materials about which they considered the most interesting. In January, the virtual audience of the General Newspaper was able to get acquainted with Daria Badikova (Moscow), Alexander Kuznetsov (Moscow), Daria Nekras (Dnepropetrovsk), Maria Yakovleva (Moscow). The editors thanks the first participants in the project and their parents. We wish that the coming century gives the opportunity to be realized by the dreams and aspirations of your talented and beautiful children.
According to the results of the survey, "Faces of January" was Dasha Badikova. We publish a photo of the girl and the story of her mother in this issue.

According to the results of the survey, "Faces of January" was Dasha Badikova. We publish a photo of the girl and the story of her mother in this issue. Daria was born in Moscow on November 11, 1996. If Helvetius talked to her at least one day, he would have to admit that he was mistaken - a person does not make upbringing. It, in any case, is not the main thing. The Lord God, Nature, Prababushkina Gena or something else-but Dasha seems to know the first days of her life what she wants, and external circumstances or parental beliefs only weakly touch some unknown rod, some kind of healthy internal power that are visible in it distinctly and clearly. The person is three years old. The most important (and difficult, of course) is to recognize all human rights and freedoms for him, and not be mistaken that everything that the Mams -Nunes will wish to “cure” from him. Dasha has a television operator, mom is a journalist. To the question "What will you be?" He answers exhaustively: "I will work." The same briefly (and, according to Chekhov, talentedly) is determined with "eternal questions" - coming from the kindergarten, reports: - I love Stasik. - Why? - He is good. The greatest pleasure that she will not exchange for toys or a swing is books. Sometimes some book asks to read every day and loses interest only when he knows by heart. Surprisingly, not only the poetic, but also the prosaic text remembers word for word, and then, having opened a faded annotation to the cream or instructions for the TV, sensing, pretending that he reads, tells from beginning to end, sometimes compiling the text at his discretion. That is, probably, it easily explains complex sentences and always reasoned logically: having received a cutlet for lunch, says: - I love meat. Then, in thought: - I'm probably a dog? Of course, she is sometimes cunning. Going into the kitchen at 11 o’clock in the evening and warning the strict question "What is the matter?", Clutching his mother and very plaintively says: - I just miss you. But, gutting a New Year's gift and receiving one (due to allergies) candy, all evening fits with the rest, transferring either into a box or a toy pan, and, even left without the attention of adults, does not try to eat at least one more: “We agreed. Then” (although the sweet loves). Lord, if this cleanliness, this sincerity, this naturalness remained in people and after 20 and 40 years, this world would be almost perfect ... When I (mother) think about what will be for Dashka of the 21st century, of course, I wish her health and happiness, and I also want her to live in a civilized country where the laws are always observed, where a person is not losing their own dignity, where it is unthinkable, where it is unthinkable, where it is unthinkable tanks and terror, where there are no abandoned and unhappy children. I want Dasha to live in Russia ... And also - so that she could always go to the Crimea, where her grandparents live, where the small church in which she was baptized, where the summer smells of the sea, juniper and delicate peach jam, which the grandmother is breaking ... so that the world remains for her, as in childhood, is reliable, bright and cozy.
