Participants in the Moscow parade of sex minorities avoided the annoyance of the riot police, representatives of sex minorities, led by their informal leader Nikolai Alekseev, held a small gay parade in the center of Moscow yesterday. True, they did not go along the Tver, along the facade of the Moscow City Hall, but along the back of the building - on Bolshaya Nikitskaya. Unlike the previous two attempts by the march this time, the police reacted to the parade participants noticeably softer.By 13.00, many young people gathered at the monument to Yuri Dolgorukov, whose appearance it was impossible to determine whether they came to participate in the parade or suppress its holding. The monument was covered by metal fences and a living chain of riot police.
“Free the way for people! For normal! " - several times shouted the fat officer of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Some of the young people, highlighting them according to some criteria, the riot police entered the minibus standing at the monument. Later it turned out that among the detainees were mainly nationalists.
Several young people from the crowd suddenly resolutely headed for the left -handed house standing on the left hand. The police followed them, and then the whole crowd. At that moment, a panel suddenly blossomed from the balcony of the third floor of the house with the inscription: “Right - gays and lesbians. The homophobia of the mayor of Luzhkov - on trial, ”and a man from a neighboring window released multi -colored balls into the sky.
The nationalists who approached the house began to throw eggs into the panel. Others, taking out the icons, began to pose with pleasure in front of photographers. The police at that time detained one of the “eggs” standing in the crowd, whose face hid the hood.
After a couple of minutes, a person who tried to disrupt the banner appeared in the window below. It was possible to do this for the third time. When the banner was ripped off, the nationalists shouted: “Hurray!”, And some of the people who stood in the crowd sang: “For our faith.”
On this, the unauthorized protest was completed. As a result, 15 people were detained. Moreover, as the Central Internal Affairs Directorate said, they all turned out to be activists of nationalist groups, not sex minorities.
As it turned out later, this attempt was a distracting maneuver. An hour earlier, gay activists have already held a procession, but on a parallel street - Bolshaya Nikitskaya. At noon, about 30 people started from the monument to Tchaikovsky at the Moscow Conservatory and reached the Boulevard Ring. “This is unique. We conducted everything that we planned, ”said Nikolai Alekseev after the action to the correspondent of the newspaper. “Moreover, none of ours is detained.”
