In Moscow, the annual nickname film awards in the Russian capital on Friday was awarded the ceremony of presenting the Kinematographic Prize "Nick". The main triumph this year was Sergey Bodrov’s film “Mongol”. The large -scale history of the formation of the son of the steppes, the unifying of the nomadic tribes of Genghis Khan won six awards of the Russian Academy of Cinematographic Arts. Among them are prizes for the best film, directing, costumes, sound, work of operators and artists. It is worth noting that the Bodrov tape is an international project: in the Oscar ceremony in the category "Best Foreign Language" "" Mongol ", for example, represented not Russia, but Kazakhstan. And among the newly -made winners of the Russian Prize, there are several foreign specialists who took part in the epic production.
By the way, unlike Oscar, on Nick, Sergei Bodrov did not have a competitor in the person of Nikita Mikhalkov and his painting “12”. One of the founders of the other, younger Russian movie academy and the Golden Eagle Award, at the stage of nominations, shot his work from the competition in the categories “Best Film” and “Best Director”. Mikhalkov’s mood, however, did not prevent Nick’s award for the best male role of Sergei Garmash, who played in the film “12”, and the premium for the best music - the composer of this tape Eduard Artemyev.
In general, the list of applicants for Nick was significantly different from what was on the Golden Orel, and turned out to be more representative in relation to the most noticeable Russian ribbons of 2007. In particular, this concerned the sensational painting by Alexei Balabanov "Cargo 200", which, although it did not receive a single "nickname", was widely represented in the nominations. In no category, the film of Andrei Zvyagintsev "Exile" noted in Cannes did not win. And quite capable of applying for the main prizes of Alexander, directed by Alexander Sokurov, also withdrew from the competition in advance. As a result, the second after the “Mongol”, according to the number of the awards, the “simple things” of Alexei Popogrebsky became the number of rewards: the film received “Nicky” for the script, the best male role of the second plan (Leonid Broneva) and the opening of the year (this premium was also awarded a widely known, but in theatrical circles, Sergei Pukepalis).
Maria Shalaeva was recognized as the best actress for the main role in the film "The Mermaid", as a second -wing performer, Maria Aronova was marked from the painting "Artist".
The best animated film is called the "Snow Maiden" of Maria Muat, the best documentary - "Born in the USSR. 21" Sergei Miroshnichenko. Fans of the series "Liquidation" may be happy for Sergei Ursulyak, who received a special prize "for creative achievements in the art of television cinema." And George Danelia, the director of the famous films "Kin-dza-dza" and "Autumn marathon", carried away from the stage "Nick" for honor and dignity.
A sad but integral part of the ceremony was a tribute to the artists who have recently passed away. The figurine of the goddess Nicky with the wording "for an outstanding contribution to the Russian cinema" posthumously awarded Alexander Abdulov and handed the actor to the widow.
