Russian car factories, as usual, brought to the exhibition almost their entire lineup, including a line of promising models and concepts.
The exposition of the Gorky Automobile Plant (GAZ) did not fit in one pavilion - some of the exhibits had to be put up on the street. Gas introduced several Gazelle modifications and two SUVs. The SUV "Combat" has long been known to the Russian public. This all-wheel drive car, stylized under the 50s, is an indispensable guest of each exhibition, although it has not yet reached its production production. The second SUV GAZ-3106 is known to Russians only by name. Under this name, the new Russian jeep appears at Russia's exhibitions for several years, but each time in a new appearance. The first copy resembled the futuristic Volga-3111 in design, which spent it for a short time on the conveyor. The second version of the jeep was shown at the Moscow Motor Show last year. The appearance of the machine has changed dramatically: futurism gave way to even excessive simplicity of form. The plant introduced the next version of GAZ-3106 this year. The jeep has been transformed and can now compete with some imported SUVs. GAZ-3106 is equipped with a 4.6-liter V8 V8 injector engine with a capacity of 185 horsepower. The Russian jeep is planned to be equipped with engines of both domestic - the Zavolzhsky motor plant, and foreign - production of IVECO or Toyota. There were also changes in the interior of the SUV: it received a new dashboard and a leather interior. The serial production of this car is scheduled for 2006-2007, the preliminary price is about 10 thousand dollars.
'Gorky' trio
Among the cars that the Gorky Automobile Plant brought to Moscow, it is worth noting three: the new Volga-31107, Volga-Cup and the concept car, which, according to the plan of manufacturers, should be a replacement for the representative Volga-3102.
It is assumed that the Volga-31107 already in the middle of next year will be replaced by the “one hundred and fifth” conveyor. In front of the car has practically not changed, only the optics of the head light were updated. But behind the car was transformed radically. In addition to the new shape of the wings, the lids of the trunk and headlights in the “one hundred seventh” have changed all the nodes of the rear suspension. Archaic springs disappeared, their place was taken by the springs. Thanks to this, the spare wheel, which in the current 'Volga' is located right on the floor of the luggage compartment, is now cleaned inside. The gas tank is also placed there, but he gained a new shape and shifted to the left. According to representatives of the plant, it will cost “one hundred and seventh” $ 8.5-9 thousand.
The fate of the concept car, which should replace the Volga-3102, is not yet clear. The design of the car, which in front is very reminiscent of Bentley, was developed in the Moscow company Cardy. After the car dealership, a decision will be made on the appropriateness of the production of this car. However, representatives of the Gaza say that even if the car does not enter mass production, a small -scale assembly will be established.
As for the Volgi'-Cope, it can be made to order it today. The turbocharged engine ZMZ-406 now has a power of 180 hp. In the back of the car, powerful speakers and an amplifier were installed for lovers of good sound. Fans of exotic will have to pay 42 thousand dollars for this car.
AvtoVAZ priority car
One of the new products of AvtoVAZ presented at the exhibition is Lada Priora with Hatchback and Sedan bodies. Recall that Lada Priora Sedan is a modernized version of the Lada 110 car with an updated hood shape, front and rear wings, trunk lids and salon. Priora in the back of the hatchback is essentially a modernized version of the LADA 112 model, with the same set of innovations as the sedan.

'Izh' wants to become an SUV

It is worth noting only the convenient location of the spare wheel at the new 'Izh': it hid under the bottom and holds on the brackets, which can be unscrewed from the luggage compartment. Fabula stands out a little from the price segment, which is occupied by IZH models - its cost begins with 5 thousand dollars.
'Killed' from Iran
Foreign guests of the exhibition are not only the expected Skoda, Kia, Hyundai, but also the Samand from Iran, represented by Iran Khodro. This is a four -door class D. Despite the fact that the car is fully developed by Iranian manufacturers, in its appearance the design elements of many leading auto -films in the world are traced. So, the radiator grille and headlight headlights give out a resemblance to Volkswagen or Skoda, the rear lights - with Kia Magentis, and the salon was created in the style of American Buick (convex forms, not very high -quality plastic and large torpedo). True, in general, the car turned out to be quite harmonious. Nothing superfluous - a simple family car. Samand is equipped with an injector engine with a volume of 1.8 liters and a capacity of 100 hp, which allows it to develop speed up to 185 km/h. Acceleration to hundreds takes 11.9 seconds. But the most important thing in Samand is not a characteristics, but a price. Since January next year, the car will be sold in Russia for 10-12 thousand dollars.
Russia received Gol from Brazil
Visitors of the exhibition could evaluate Volkswagen Gol - a car that is produced in Brazil. In the near future, it can be purchased in Russia, where it will be sold under the name Pointer. The quality of materials and the accuracy of the adjustment of the panels in the cabin are truly German. A special mention is worthy of the transmission lever - it is more like a convenient computer joystick and is enclosed in a stylish circle of chrome metal in a sports style. The price of the car is also attractive: a three-door hatchback with a 1.0-liter engine of 67 hp. It will cost an average of 9.5 thousand dollars. Gol is a democratic car without special design and technical delights. But since he is a representative of the famous world brand Volkswagen, its owner will be able to boast of his friends, which travels almost to Golf (though without the last letter).
TVR Tuscan - 'New Russian' Englishman
The TVR automobile company, which recently passed into the hands of one young Russian oligarch, introduced the TVR Tuscan car. This is an exclusive sports machine with two types of engines: a 3.6-liter engine with a capacity of 350 hp. and 4 -liter - 400 hp With the first TVR accelerates to 100 km/h in 4.2 seconds, and the maximum speed of the car exceeds 290 km/h. Tuscan with a four -liter engine accelerates to hundreds of only 3.8 seconds, and the “maximum speed” is 315 km/h.
In addition to a powerful motor, the machine has an extravagant design. At the exhibition, Tuscan was represented in the color of the Hameleon: it shimmered with golden and pink.
