Boeing found where the American corporation Boeing and the VSMPO-Avism corporation, the world's largest producer of titanium, are ready to become residents of the new special economic zone (SEZ) industrial production type in Upper Sald (Ural AO). Competitions for the creation of new SEZ will be declared by the Government of the Russian Federation in June. If the competitive commission decides to support the Ural AO, then one of the most promising zones will be created in Russia, which is called the “Titanian Valley” in the Federal Agency for Special Economic Zones (Rosuez).Recall that in Russia 6 SEZs have already been created-4 technical-informational and 2 industrial production. Preferential taxation is designed to attract investors in the SEZ, which will help Russia modernize its industry. Almost all Russian regions dream of an SEZ. Soon the Government of the Russian Federation will announce the next competition for the creation of another 1-2 industrial and production and 2-3 tourist-reactive SEZs.
Yesterday, in the course of the SEZ, organized by the mayor of the Seminar, it was announced that Boeing applied for participation as a resident in the still non-existing industrial-production SEZ in Upper Sald. This was told by the President of Boeing in Russia and the CIS, participating in the seminar Sergey Kravchenko. The cost of a business that estimates Boeing in Russia only in the field of civil aviation for the near future is $ 18 million. Boeing sees real prospects in the Russian SEZ for the increase in the value of its contracts, said Sergey Kravchenko.
As you know, Verkhnyaya Salda (Sverdlovsk Region) is the estate of the "VSMPO-Avism", the world's largest titanium manufacturer. In April, Boeing signed an agreement with it on the creation of PP for the processing of stamped titanium products produced by the VSMPO Avism for the Boeing 787 Dreamliner program. The final processing of these products will be carried out at Boeing enterprises, as well as other subcontractors specializing in this type of work. And in November 2004, Boeing and VSMPO signed an agreement on strategic partnership, expanding cooperation and long -term partnerships. It provides for an increase in the share of supplies of high -end titanium products for Boeing civilian aircraft.
VSMPO and Boeing are also developing new titanium alloys and technologies for their processing within the framework of a joint innovation center. Their tandem played a key role in the decision of the two corporations to combine his efforts on the new site - within the framework of the SEZ, which can be created once in Upper Salda.
VSMPO- "Avisma" and Boeing are ready to produce new types of products in Russia, which will be used not only by obvious demand in aviation, but in the nuclear industry, shipbuilding. They prefer not to disclose details, but they are sure of success. The deep processing of titanium and aluminum conceived by them in the SEZ will make it possible to produce ultra -strength materials of the “new generation”. And new, more durable will come to replace titanium buildings for aircraft and ships. Obviously, the leading role in the sale of final finished products, and therefore in making higher profit, will belong to the American Boeing, but Russia's winnings are undoubtedly obviously obvious.
The well -known supporter of the SEZ, the head of the Mayor German Gref, recently stated that Russia as a whole and Russian manufacturers in particular, risk remaining “on the sidelines of economic development” if they do not accept the time of time and do not begin to produce and promote competitive products to foreign markets. The head of Rosuez Yuri Zhdanov yesterday said that the Severstal concern in co -operation with foreign automakers can be registered in the near future as residents in the already created SEZ in the city of Elabuga (Tatarstan). There, after 9 months, new models of various trucks will begin to produce.
Now the Alliance of VSMPO- "Avisma" and Boeing want to establish the production of competitive products in the SEZ. These are the most obvious examples of using the SEZ to get a chance to break through with the help of foreign partners into new sales markets.
