The author writes everything correctly and beautifully. But (maybe it seemed to me) the tone of the article is as if the author tells of normal ...
We live in an open world: we respect German cars, we willingly take Belarusian milk and put in a stir with Chinese toys. That is, the foreign origin of the goods has long ceased to sharply excite us: if only it works, but it will break, we will buy a new one. The same thing in sports: many of our victories, like our defeats, are not made in Russia.
It seems to me that sport should be distinguished from the general row, because it is very deeply saturated with national symbols. Sport is one of the last refugees of the holy faith that our relatives, their own are still quite competitive, are still able to be stronger than all without the help of other people's ideas, technologies and money.
Roman Trushechkin was lucky to participate in the launch of two media projects: the NTV-Plus football channel in 1997 and the newspaper in 2001. His universities, in addition to the Moscow State, were years of work in the program "Football Club", as well as reporting business trips to the Olympic Athens and Turin. He serves as a observer in the journal PROSTORY. His voice sometimes sounds behind the scenes on the Russia-2 channel, when football matches get into the frame.
As for money, it’s true. Russian sport lives at the expense of Russian funds, and Qatari sheikhs do not stand in line behind our “Zeniths” and “Spartaks.” It is imperative, this is Russian money, filling with themselves, like wet sand, foreign forms, more and more often freeze in various elegant forms.
This Russian money restarted the fate of the Great Clucky Club. The Russians came to the Venice club so that it would not drown before the city of the same name. The Russians started a cunning project in the Portuguese club "Sporting", for which the former president of the Olympic Committee Tyakachev was discharged from the ski village near Moscow. The latest of the Russians who decided to invest in foreign sport, - the “group of groups” explain their intention to take up the Portsmouth club very simply: the exit with the team to the highest English division means a bonus the size of 90 million pounds. In Russia, such a rise means only an increase in costs, and for entering the Russian sports project established from the business point of view, they also request exorbitant money.
As for technologies, alas, we will not live without abroad. Take any, the most folk and massive, most successful sport from Soviet times, and find the German Biathlon rifles “ANSHETC”, the Swedish rifles “Eleiko” (or completely mockery-American “Ivanko”), Dutch inventory for gymnastics “Jansssen-Fritesen”, Swiss skates for figures "Count". And God is with them, Pakistani football balls.
And about ideas. Many do not even imagine how much Russian sport is dependent on not Russian people at all. And it’s not even about athletes: players from all continents have long been performed in our professional leagues, and with the approximation of Sochi-2014, legionnaires who have settled gaming disciplines are increasingly moving into the Olympic. Russia willingly provides sports citizenship to the skater from Japan, the skater from Ukraine, a five -column from Lithuania. Korean masters of a short track will run three years later in costumes with a double-headed eagle and the holy Cross of the Orthodox.
There remains the last bastion that we also can not hold: coaching thought. German Wolfgang Pichler headed the women's biathlon team, and among the winter disciplines, in which we will compete with the rest of the world in Sochi, now there is hardly one where we would do exclusively on our own. Korean from short tracks, Finns in ski biathlon, Slovenes in mountain skis, Dutchman in skates, Canadians in Kerling, Austrians in Freestyle-this is not a complete list of hired specialists.
It will soon be ten years old, as in the most wealthy and one of the most successful Russian football clubs - Zenith - Russian experts do not work with the main coaches, because a foreigner is working on the bridge for a third in a row. And since we are now importing coaches on an industrial scale, we have ceased to be interesting to the world as exporters. The main impressario of our coaches, Vladimir Abramov, “Football of Russia”, admitted to me that for four years he could not sell anyone: the Russian School of football coaches has grown catastrophically, but recently ours worked both in Africa, Asia, and even in South America.
Unlike a Russian athlete, without whom you can’t do without (you cannot compose teams only from naturalized foreigners) and which is protected by the mechanisms of the limit in leading leagues, the Russian coach is absolutely defenseless. The fate of the Russian coach is increasingly reminiscent of the fate of the domestic poda weight: it is suitable for the poor provincial gym, but is not representative enough to shine on leading platforms.
