On colored, juicy canvases - heaven, frozen in free flight of birds, blue ice, shimmering with crystals of frozen water.
The Exposition “Group Portrait”, which included more than 200 works, opened in the Moscow Manege to the 70th anniversary of Yuri Rost, a journalist and photographer, and also a laureate of the State Prize in the field of literature and art, the winner of the “Triumph” and “Book of the Year” prizes.
Growth has been writing his photo -player for more than 60 years: he took the first picture as a child, in 1946. He has an infinitely many beloved people. The huge hall of the Manege could not accommodate all his work, and some of them - color photos - had to be placed at the business center of the Moscow Metro.
And in the Spanish Barcelona, the 77-year-old film director Carlos Saura, the holder of the awards of the Cannes, Berlin and other film festivals, presented their photographs to compatriots. In his homeland, and now in the rest of the world, he is known not only with his ribbons, but also with black and white photos. The current exposition “Women and Monsters” praises the beautiful floor and is composed of 84 works set by the Aristocratic Circle. Here you can see a portrait of Geraldina Chaplin, the daughter of a great comedian who once was a lover of the film director. And nearby - a photo of the present of his wife Eulaliya Ramon, his two sisters - Maria Anheles and Pilar, and colleagues in the workshop of Adela Medran. All pictures were taken from 1951 to 2006.
Carlos Saura admitted to reporters that “women and monsters” for him is the most frank of the expositions. And he added that he worships the ability of a woman to adapt to various circumstances.
