Almost half of the current parties, the road to the elections is closed from 35 existing political parties only 19 have been re -registered. This means that even the potential number of parties that can take part in the 2007 elections will be small, and some will probably have to be self -destroyed.

The main audit took place in July this year. As expected, such giants as “United Russia”, the Communist Party, “Homeland”, the LDPR, and there were no special problems. ATP and Yabloko also successfully passed the test. The other day, the analysis of the last 16 parties ended.

“Based on the results of the audit of all political parties, 19 of them comply with the requirements of federal legislation, 16 - no,” said Galina Fokina, the acting head of the Office for political parties, registration of public, religious and other organizations. She recalled that under the new law, a union may be considered a party that includes at least 50 thousand members and has departments in more than half of the subjects of the federation of at least 500 people each, and in other regions - at least 250 people.

The party in the development of entrepreneurship, the Russian Party of the World, the Party of Freedom and Surveges, the Russian Communist Workers Party - the Party of Communists did not fit into this framework. Prior to this, 11 little-known and inaudative parties did not pass the audit, including such an exotic as hocal-conservative. But together with a trifle, a solid fish also hit the Fed’s network - the Republican Party of Russia of the Duma deputy Vladimir Ryzhkov.

Now those who are unlucky can unite with another party, transform into a public association or self -destroyed. Moreover, there is little time left for thought - until the beginning of the next year. “If by January 1 the party does not solve its fate, the law obliges us to take measures. And the measures are alone - the liquidation,” Fokina told Gazeta.

It should be noted that an emergency increase in number to the coveted 50 thousand will not save outsiders, since data is taken into account only until January 1, 2006 (the audit began in November 2005). It remains only to file an objection to the decision of paintings, which should consider the complaint within a month. The last exit is the court.

Few people liked the place in the "protective list" of the Fed. "They do not register 12 of our regional departments, where more than 500 people, and now they say that we do not correspond to something. The Fed is initiating claims to close our departments, but we win the vast majority of them," the newspaper Vider RPR Vladimir Ryzhkov told.
