RAMP -2009

This fall, the first alternative Musical TV channel A-One will award the musicians for the fifth time RAMP (Rock Alternative Music Prize), which has become a business card and a bright event in the modern cultural life of the country.

Over the five years of existence, the RAMP award has nominated more than 1000 music groups from different parts of Russia, the CIS and neighboring abroad. Young musicians (many for the first time in their lives) got the opportunity to speak on the same stage with the legendary performers before the multi -thousandth audience of the audience, and the audience got the opportunity to act annually in the role of the main judges in the choice of those for whom the future of the alternative scene.

This year, the RAMP-2009 Award will be awarded in 10 nominations:
“Group of the Year”, “Opening of the Year”, “Album of the Year”, International Act of the Year, “Hit of the Year”, Underground Act of the year, “Clip of the Year”, Runet's Respect, “Concert of the Year” and the first-award of the RAMP prize will be a special alternative nomination Urbana, uniting artists of hip-hop culture!

The audience vote for RAMP nominees is held on the website www.ramp.a1tv.ru in three stages. On October 20, the last, final tour will start, into which three groups from each nomination will be released. The names of the winners will be known directly at the RAMP-2009 ceremony in the B1 club on October 28.

Especially for the RAMP-2009 award, an expert council of the prize was formed, which is involved in the qualifying rounds. The expert council included Artemy Troitsky, Alexander F. Sklyar, Leonid Burlakov, Alexander Kushnir, Otar Kushanashvili, Vadim and Gleb Samoilova, the B2 group, Ilya Legostaev, Maxim Kononenko and many others.

This year, the group Franz Ferdinand, which will give a full -scale concert within the ceremony! The choice of the group is not accidental.
