The autumn exacerbation of Russian-Georgian relations turned two weeks. It is too early to summarize, express concern - late. In general, if something is already expressed, then rather gratitude.

Mikhail Saakashvili must be at least cordially grateful to the Russian Federation for the saved reputation of the leader. Mikhail Nikolaevich repeatedly promised to collect Georgian lands, to provide the country with economic growth. The lands were not given almost immediately, the financial situation of Georgia worsened gradually, although, perhaps, it was simply in a permanent crisis. By the time of the capture of Russian spies, the credit of trust was completely exhausted, the president’s rating fell to critical marks.

Before the beginning of the Georgian campaign, the authorities were in an extremely difficult situation. On the one hand - Kondopoga and the requirements to take urgent measures to foreigners -commune. On the other hand, a clear threat to slide down to the terrible xenophobia, indulging the angry crowds of fellow citizens

The reaction of Russia to the capture of the officers became excellent, and most importantly - an unexpected gift. Our military in Georgia was repeatedly detained, beaten - the matter did not go beyond statements and threats. And then they played a real drama in two actions: with their evacuation, cleansing and deportation of strangers. The third act, already written in the course of the play, surpassed even the most daring expectations. Not just to introduce a blockade, but to organize it in such a way that the reason for indignation remains, and at the same time, the isolation is very conditional, with a mass of laser. As a result, the ex-revolutionary Saakashvili found himself in the most advantageous position, at the head of the nation newly close in the face of the enemy.

The domestic government should also experience extremely positive emotions. It is enough to recall that before the beginning of the Georgian campaign, the authorities were in an extremely difficult situation. On the one hand - Kondopoga and the requirements to take urgent measures to foreigners -commune. On the other hand, there is a clear threat to slide to the terrible xenophobia, indulging the angry crowds of fellow citizens. The electoral capture of the Georgian violators of the visa regime is an ideal solution. The cries of the liberal -minded public are drowning in the common hum of approval, especially since purely formally the authorities do not go beyond the legal field.

The delicate, forbidden topic - markets - has become easily accessible in political discussions. Not afraid to be accused of inciting interethnic growth, officials of all ranks got the opportunity to use the ultra -right vocabulary, speaking of the law and order in the field of trade. It even came out a little sentimentally: about grandmothers who cannot realize agricultural products in places of mass accumulation of migrants-recessors. Grandmothers should be completely delighted, after monetizing the benefits, they tried not to remember at all.

Finally, the power departments deserved in completely separate gratitude. For many years they closed their eyes to offenses and crimes for many years. Rich archives allowed not only to find unaccounted tables and slot machines in a casino in the shortest possible time, but also detain the Georgian Killers gang.

It is Russian security forces that simply must be the most grateful characters in the patriotic comedy. Instead of opening the next season of hunting on the “werewolves”, the authorities gave them carte blanche and provided the opportunity to win the work done victoriously. (V.G.)
