A review of the new books Spring Book Assortment pleases us with fundamental works that do not claim to be a great artistry, but they comprehensively cover the subject studied. Alexey Ivanov in his book "Message: Chusovaya" talks about those places where the action of his novels unfolds. In all annotations, biographical certificates and interviews, intriguing information about the local history focus of the Perm writer was invariably reported.Of course, it could be judged by artistic texts in which dense toponyms sounded the same music as the unknown vocabulary extracted from hidden language boxes. But in the novel it is difficult to distinguish erudition from fiction, and Ivanov-Loop was always obscured by Ivanov-Coiner-with undoubted benefit for literature. Now, finally, a long-awaited tour of non-fiction format took place, one of the results of which is a paradoxical thought: perhaps it is from this book that you need to begin to translate Ivanov into foreign languages. The Western public is not always sensitive to Russian passions, but appreciates accuracy, information and documented exotic. And we can finally distinguish the historical substrate of the Ural myth, and at the same time make sure that the local history hypostasis Ivanov is the same reality as the uncomfortable mountain factories, the marinas, the “iron caravans” and the numerous etymologies of the name “Chusovaya”.
If the Ural wizard dilutes his scholarship with a relaxed syllable of a literary guide, then graduates of the University of Tartu, Irina Belobrovtseva and Svetlana Kulyus, commenting on the novel "Master and Margarita", as if engaged in pure science, revealing and dissecting the body of the Bulgakov text by Lotmanian philology. The solitaire, which to lay out any commentator of the famous book, consists of several editions of the work restored by drafts. But the text options are only one of those sources that are at the disposal of the commentary authors of the authors of the authors. Their attention is focused on what is called a smart phrase "cultural codes". These are the meanings of the novel that can only be caught taking into account historical, aesthetic, literary and other phenomena surrounding the author or known to him. These codes are different, and their decryption sometimes looks solid, and sometimes suspicious or trite. For example, the reader will be interested in learning that the leitmous words “gods, gods” are paraphrase of the Aida Aida, which Bulgakov often hummed. As well as about which prototypes can be seen behind the characters of the literature: a member of the Massolithic board of the Dvivobetsky has a prototype of the proletarian poet Alexander Bezimensky, Mstislav Lavrovich - Vsevolod Vishnevsky, and the navigator Georges - Olga Forsh. But the statement that in some episodes (in particular, where around the homeless and Berlioz suddenly it becomes completely deserted), the author introduces the motive of a closed sacred space - this is a formulation in the spirit of student semiotic exercises; Next to serious hypotheses, such things look superfluous. About 10 years ago, this would be impressed, and now any sauced reader can tell such scientifics, and it is not necessary to be a philologist for this. On the other hand, imagine, they ask Bulgakov: "Why, in the initial scene, from the field of view of the homeless and Berlioz, people suddenly disappear?" "And this I introduce the motive of the sacred space. It is necessary to understand!" - the writer answers. This is no longer Bulgakov, but almost Venedikt Erofeev.
