A truce under threat

According to one version, a landmine exploded, according to the other - the patrol was shot from a grenade launcher. This incident was the first serious incident since the ceasefire, which was announced at the beginning of last week. In response, Israeli artillery fired at several houses in the area of the explosion. As a result, one person died and several more were injured. In addition, Israel today closed all the checkpoint on the border with the gas sector.

Meanwhile, in Israel itself, the loud political scandal around the right party of Israel - Batein and its leader Avigdor Liberman continues to gain momentum.

Shortly before the parliamentary elections appointed on February 10, the police held a number of arrests of party members, which, according to political scientists, will adversely affect the popularity of Israel - Beatein, which, according to forecasts, can count on at least 16 seats in a 120 -seater Knesset. In total, seven people were arrested, among them the daughter of the party leader Mikhal Lieberman, as well as his lawyer and head of the campaign headquarters. In particular, they are accused of laundering money. Four of the detainees, including the daughter of Lieberman, are currently under house arrest.

We are talking about the activities of the ML-1 company, which was registered in 2004 by Michal Lieberman. The company was engaged in consultations for foreign businessmen, having received more than $ 2.7 million as a payment of services all the time. According to the police, a significant part of this amount was transferred directly to the vigdor Liberman.
