Eternally rotten

Sex Pistols performed in Russia the first Russian tour of the British punk group Sex Pistols in history were held in the half-empty halls. The prospect of seeing the reunite heroes of Punk rock in action, as it turned out, inspires young people much less than the solo concert of the King and the Jester group. Of course, ticket prices cannot be called democratic, but such concerts do not happen every year.

30 years have passed since the group officially broke up. The third time over the past 12 years, Sex Pistols has been reunited. Not so much in order to show the world a real punk rock, but in order to earn money, as they themselves are recognized as a blue eye. In the 1980s, Lidon moved far from the punk profiles of his youth, but he again votes the old Pistolzovsky repertoire and, as in the old days, wears the honorary title of Rotten, that is, rotten. As for the bassist Glen Matlock, whom Lidon used to have not allegedly disliked the purebum, he looks like the last 30 years he spent in the fitness center. The drummer Paul Cook is also in good shape, and only the guitarist of Steve Jones propagates a voluminous beer belly.

The current tour is called Combine Harvester Tour - the back of the scene decorates the image of two combines. It is customary to interpret these combines as a symbol of the haircuts of coupons.

Heat the audience, or rather heave their ears to listeners before the Pistols concert, entrusted the Moscow team "Cotters!" Sounded "cockroaches!" It is very scary, while the sound technology constantly turned between the musicians who eliminated endless technical problems. The group sounded as if on stage unloaded a dump truck with scrap metal. Perhaps the "cockroaches!" There were other goals, but it turned out that with their performance the group reminded the main principle of Russian punk rock: the worse the better. True, to whom exactly better, it is difficult to say.

The overture for the Pistols concert was the phonogram of the patriotic British song "There´ll Always Be An England". Appearing on the stage, Lidon and the company played Pretty Vacant. The crowd at the scene erupted in a real salute of paper (good use was found for free in the lobby of the magazine). Throughout the concert, something was constantly flying on stage, once Lidon overtook a real Pankovsky spit. Just one spit for the whole concert is not to compare saliva with the streams, which, according to tradition, gave their idols the British pancakes of the 1970s.

Lidon for a long time is not the same subtile young man with tangled red hair as he was once. Now this is a completely well -fed and smooth man. The riot on stage is not to Lidon -Potten. His main trump card is an inimitable facial expressions: bulging eyes and the like. However, from this, Lidon is pretty sweating.

The four musicians on the stage were complemented by another remarkable character - the securities of the group, and very nervous. The work for the whole concert was just to shove one girl from the stage, but he twitched unceasingly and three times mistakenly rushed at his own - a man from the escort of a group who shot a concert on camera.

Sex Pistols systematically issued the material of their only full -fledged album "Never Mind the Bollocks": "Lazy Sod", "Liar", "Submission", "Holidys in the Sun" and other songs. There was also Belsen Was a Gas, which is now renamed Baghdad Was a Blast and is dedicated to the war in Iraq.

There was also “DID You No Wrong”, which can be found on collections, as well as cover versions: “(I´M not your) STEPPing Stone“ The Monkees, “No Fun” The Stoogenes. It is a pity that Pistols do not play "Silly Thing" in which Paul Cook sings. Punk rock hymns - "God Save the Queen", "Anarchy in the UK", as one would expect, went closer to the final.

Having played one BIS, the group was clearly in no hurry to expel the audience from the audience, although many personally rushed to the exit. But there was a second BIS, rather unusual: at first the cover version of the "Silver Machine" Hawkwind, and then "Roadrunner". After the hymns, it sounded a little optional. But it was this bis that showed that Sex Pistols was not tired of playing.
