According to Ptashkin, the first channel prematurely terminated the contract with him, not paying monetary compensation in such cases. The journalist told the correspondent of Gazeta that the court fully satisfied all his claims. “I demanded that I restore me as the editor of the special projects of the First Channel OJSC on the terms of an employment contract concluded for an indefinite period,” Ptashkin said. According to him, earlier he was dismissed on the terms of a fixed -term contract, which was recognized as illegal by the court. “There was a item according to which the employer can unanimously break off such a typical contract without any explanation,” he said. - This contradicts the Labor Code. Even when I was still working on the channel, my rights as an employee were infringed. ” He noted that many employees still work under such an agreement on the channel. “The prosecutor's office has already made an idea, so they must change it in a month,” said Ptashkin. “I think that many of my colleagues will also want to achieve justice in court.”

According to the journalist, at the trial, the representative of the TV channel tried to explain the situation with the forgetfulness of the personnel department. “Like, someone forgot to take the piece of paper, someone lost the document,” Ptashkin is indignant. “It's just ridiculous to listen to it when there is a fact of a gross violation of the law.”

If the channel does not appeal the court decision within 10 days, he will have to pay the journalist monetary compensation for illegal dismissal, as well as 5 thousand rubles of compensation for moral damage.

Now the journalist is going to go to work and wait for the channel’s reaction: “I will take a sheet with a court decision and go to Ostankino. I hope that I will not repair obstacles to access to the workplace. I will not quit and do not even achieve dismissal. ”
