“Mumiy Troll” and “Agatha Christie” in the project “My rock and roll” former program director of the Maximum radio, the creator of our radio and radio “Ultra”, the ideologist of the festivals “Maksidr” and “Invasion”, the godfather of the Russian “format” rock, and now the simple Russian radio host Mikhail Kozyrev wrote a book with the modest name “My rock and roll. " This is a three -volume from which the number one has yet come out. In it, Kozyrev discusses the famous people of Russian rock, recalls funny stories from his organizational practice, and also gives an interview with Bjork, Rammstein, Massive Attack.Kozyrev would not be Mikhail Kozyrev if he had not arranged a whole action on the basis of his book. Two evenings in the concert hall "Mir" was something started by this indefatigable person with the support of the Agatha Christie, Mumiy Troll groups and Brainstorm. The author of the book, he was the presenter, indulged in memories, read passages from his works and told the audience about his view of the work of invited teams. The words addressed to “Agatha Christie” were especially sublimely: Mikhail Kozyrev repeatedly repeated the idea that the songs “Agatha” express their pain and despair of their time, but this, as a rule, was understood by few. Gleb and Vadim Samoilov showed up with compliments, performed their old songs, mainly the mid-1990s: “Divorite”, “Legion”, “Corvette goes to heaven”, “Miracles”. In some cases, Vadim Samoilov sat down at the piano; So, the “carpet-saro” was decorated with a dashing piano loss.
Mikhail Kozyrev devoted a separate monologue to the memory of the AGATA keyboard player Alexander Kozlov, who died in 2001.
Not so ornate, but almost as enthusiastically Kozyrev talked about "Mummy Troll." In response, the group performed the “Girl”, “Press”, “Dolphins”, as well as “Tears“ Suspenders ”and“ Such Girls ”, while the drummer Oleg Pungin managed to play at the same time at the bass guitar and percussion. The way “MT” was performed by “waterfalls” was probably the most powerful musical moment in the evening.
An unexpected episode was the emergence of the Brainstorm group, who spared the “weekend” as a sound illustration for Kozyrev’s story about how he proposed to adapt the Latvian group for the Russian audience and translate some of its texts into Russian.
The whole performance was accompanied by a very meaningful video sequence, in some places, however, perplexed. So, as a fine series, the “Corvette” song “Into My Arms” was shown to the song “Corvet”. This is probably called "creative borrowing."
In addition to Kozyrev himself, some of his friends shared the memories from the stage: producer Dmitry Groysman, co -author of the Non -Light Grink, Maxim Vitorgan, radio hosts Rita Mitrofanov and Alex Dubas, as well as director Andrei Lukashevich, who shot the famous clip for the song “Agatha Christie”. Alex Dubas expressed himself very well: “Congratulations, now you have your own rock and roll.” Rock-n Roll in the understanding of Mikhail Kozyrev-a specific thing, one might say, copyright. He does not play him, but vigorously organizes around him from his favorite teams, songs and people, so rock and roll and actually becomes his own version of modern music. Perhaps not everyone will agree with this version, but nevertheless, Kozyrev has definitely deserved the right to an attractive pronoun.
