When the number of cases exceeded dozens and everything continued to grow, doctors began to alarm. In just three days after IQ-Bal, about 150 people were hospitalized in hospitals. In addition to students, journalists and even the organizers of the event were on hospital beds. According to doctors, the state of hospitalized - in the range from light to moderate severity. There is no one in serious condition. Preliminary diagnosis is acute intestinal infection. Some associate their poisoning with sandwiches eaten during the buffet, others with cakes. The true causes of the epidemic have not yet been established. Specialists of Rospotrebnadzor conduct laboratory studies, the results of which will become known on Tuesday.

As the Gazeta was told in the administration of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, an operational headquarters was created in connection with the incident. Before the audit, the work of public catering points located in the Siberia exhibition center was suspended. Law enforcement agencies connected to the investigation. The Krasnoyarsk prosecutor’s office opened a criminal case under part 1 of Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (the provision of services that do not meet security requirements). He called the incident with a flagrant fact and demanded that the strictest sanctions apply to the guilty.
