Clouled by the princess

Kuskovo announced the Laureates of the Crystal Turandot Prize “Crystal Turandot” - a long -liver among theater awards, and its first presentation falls in 1991, when there were no “golden mask” or other awards in Russia much later. The 15th anniversary of the “Crystal Turandot” that celebrated this year even managed to form some traditions that did not change from year to year.

On the agenda of the festive evening - four compulsory points: 1) the rank walks of the invited ladies and gentlemen along the alleys of the museum -reserve "Kuskovo"; 2) the ceremony itself, whose place of action is the interiors of the palace of Count Sheremetev; 3) admiring the fireworks reflected in the Kuskovsky pond; 4) a joint friendly feast.

Another tradition of the award is that the Chinese princess herself announces the laureates, at first slightly intriguing gathered in their riddles. For the second year in a row, the role of Princess Turandot has been assumed by the excellent comic actress Maria Aronova from the theater named after Vakhtangov. This time, she, rustling with silk, made her puzzles to the actor and director Alexander Adabashyan, who, having accepted the role of a matchmaker, looked for the grooms for the princess.

The princesses of the riddles were resolved quite quickly, and all eight figurines scattered at previously scheduled addresses. The strangest was the choice of Turandot in the “Best Debut” nomination. The prize was awarded to the ex-soloist of the Smash group !! Sergey Lazarev, who this year really proved to be acting success in the play of Pushkin Theater “Bath Tenora”. To reward the young actor for a well -played role - the idea from Turandot is undoubtedly good. But the whole thing is that Lazarev’s stage debut took place for a long time, and a few years ago, for the role of Romeo in the performance of Roman Kozak, the guy was even nominated for another theater award, which is called “debut”.

Otherwise, the choice of "crystal Turandot" was not so doubtful. The best actress was recognized as Vera Alentov for his role in the performance of the same Pushkin Theater “Happy Days” - taking a figurine from the hands of Alexei Batalov, she admitted that this is her first theater award. Evgeny Mironov, the performer of the role of Judas Golovlev in the Moscow Art Theater, Kirill Serebrennikov, was awarded for the best male role of the season by the avant -garde Leontiev.

In the staged group of the Lenkomovsky performance “Pushpershka (Eclipse), flying over the nest of the cuckoo (eclipse), two laureates at once. The prize for the best scenography is posthumously awarded to the artist David Borovsky (the figurine was handed over to the widow), and the director of the “eclipse”, Bulgarian Alexander Morphov, received the award “for contribution to the theatrical art of Moscow”. Hoodruk Mtuuza Henrietta Yanovskaya, who at the beginning of this season the play Tennessee Williams “Tram“ Desire ”, is called the best director. And the “Crystal Turandot” for the best performance was given to Mindaugasa Karbauskis: he put in “Tabakerka” “The Tale of the Seven hanged” Leonid Andreev. The Honorary Prize "For the long -term and valiant service of the theater" went to Lev Durov this year.
