The attack of the cyclist

In the capital of Dagestan, two policemen were killed by another daring murder of police officers committed in Makhachkala on Sunday. This time - right at the building of the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic. At about 22.40, to the Arzamas -50 post, two traffic police inspectors and the policeman of the patrol service, which was on duty at the barrier who closes the entrance to the central square of the capital of Dagestan, - the young man drove up on a bicycle. Suddenly he took out the machine gun and opened fire on the police. Two of them are senior lieutenant, traffic police inspector Kemal Ragadinov and an employee of the city patrol service, Magomed Vakhidov, were seriously injured and died on the way to the hospital.

The criminal tried to hide, heading down the street of Dahadaev. However, patrols were already abandoned to his capture, serving near the Arzamas-50 post. When the patrol service machine approached the bandit, he released the line from the machine gun and wounded one of the policemen (he was affected by the soft fabrics of both legs). One of the bullets also touched the 77-year-old passer-by. Fortunately, the wound turned out to be tangent and not life -threatening.

On the corner of the streets of Dakhadaev and Markov, at the entrance to the building of the Supreme Court of Dagestan, the attacked was killed. He found an AKM assault rifle, a traumatic gun converted for firing with combat cartridges, a pomegranate F-1, three stores to a machine gun. Near the Arzamas-50 post, the criminal threw a satchel in which employees of the investigative-operational group found two F-1 grenades, hunting and penknife knives, more than 120 rounds of various calibers, a camouflage set, a t-shirt, as well as a toothpaste and a brush.

On the fact of an attack on police officers, a criminal case was opened under Articles 317 (an encroachment on the life of an employee of a law enforcement agency) and 222 (illegal weapons of weapons) of the Criminal Code. The personality of the criminal has not yet been established, so representatives of the investigation and the Ministry of Internal Affairs are refrained from commenting.
