The head of the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation Sergey Stepashin expressed the opinion that the experiment on the creation of state corporations, in fact, failed.
“Unfortunately, this form, which seemed necessary and interesting, apparently did not work either. This is one of the reasons why federal targeted programs are so poorly implemented,” Sergey Stepashin’s statement quoted RIA Novosti .
In early August, President Dmitry Medvedev instructed the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation and his control management to check the directions and the efficiency of the use of financial resources transferred to state corporations.
State corporations in the Russian Federation work in the fields of mechanical engineering (Rostekhnology), atomic energy (Rosatom), nanotechnology (Rusnano), housing and communal services (housing and communal services), financial market (VEB, DIA) and pre-Olympic construction (Olympstroy).
In addition, companies that resemble state corporations are created by the state in the field of aviation (UAC) and shipbuilding (OSK), as well as road farms (Rosavtodor).
