The most paradoxical - these documents came to Khodorkovsky by official mail and were inspected by the censors of the YAG14/10. Moreover, according to the rules of the internal schedule of correctional institutions, prisoners are prohibited from having literature only on topography, martial arts, official dog breeding, the construction of weapons and pornographic content.

The fact of Khodorkovsky’s placement in the schizo is already appealed by his Chita lawyer Natalya Terekhova in the city court of Krasnokamensk. Previously, she appealed the imposition of another penalty - for leaving the workplace without permission. Khodorkovsky received him in mid -December last year. According to the lawyer, each penalty negatively affects the characteristics of any convict and can adversely affect both when deciding on the possibility of transferring to lightened conditions (such a issue is resolved six months after getting into the colony), and in the future, the issue of conditional-by-and-a-aid liberation.

The court will consider the question of the illegality of applying the first penalty on Wednesday. On the same day, Mikhail Khodorkovsky will have to take an exam in the sewing case. Until now, he held the position of student of the Swede-Motorist, and the upcoming exam will allow the businessman to rise to the next step in the sewing workshop of the colony. The exam will be taken by a special commission.

Meanwhile, as Natalya Terekhova told the newspaper, Khodorkovsky intends to ask the colony administration to change the type of activity - he would like to engage in scientific and methodological work. “If the administration does not satisfy this request, then this decision will be the subject of appeal in court. But until this issue is resolved either in court or in another way, Khodorkovsky will participate in sewing production so as not to get new penalties for refusing to work, ”the lawyer added.

In order to apply for parole, the prisoner must behave perfectly at least a year. But judging by the fact that the penalties on the eminent prisoner are applied only once a month, there are very few chances to go free earlier.
