Forecasters promise Muscovites warm September Muscovites will still see summer. According to weather forecasts, warm and sunny weather without storm rains will be installed in August and, possibly, in September. According to the CEO of the Meteoburetor of Moscow and the Moscow Region, Alexei Lyakhov, there is a high probability that the first autumn month will please the inhabitants of the capital with comfortable weather.

As Gennady Eliseev, deputy director of the Hydrometeorological Center, told the newspaper correspondent, in August, rainfall in Moscow will be slightly larger than the norm, which is 75-80 mm. Meanwhile, since the beginning of the month, 65 mm of precipitation has already fallen in the capital. The cause of heavy rains that fell upon Muscovites in recent days was Cyclone, who came from the Baltic (see the newspaper of August 6). According to weather forecasters, the intensity of the cyclone was not any special, but Moscow was in that area that is associated with the most frequent and strong rains.

As for the temperature, then, according to Eliseev, it will last about 16 degrees, which generally corresponds to the norm for this month. Although on some days the thermometer can rise to a plus of 20 degrees.

At the same time, Eliseev noted that so far the August temperature is lower than 3-4 degrees. However, not for long. According to the deputy director of the Hydrometeorological Center, the cold air in the rear of the cyclone entered the European part of Russia, the pressure rises and the comb an anticyclone is formed. “We expect that the sun will be warmed up and the air will warm up,” Gennady Eliseev pleased.
