A new investigation of the Golden Youth series has been published on the Compliance Corylated website, authored by Ilya Shumanov and with the participation of the Dirty Money direction “Transparency International - Russia”. This time in the spotlight is Boris Borisovich Ivanyuzhenkov , the son of the current State Duma deputy and former Minister of Sports Boris Ivanyuzhenkov.
Ivanyuzhenkov Jr.’s father has been featured in Russian and foreign publications for many years as a person associated with the Podolsk organized crime group , one of the most influential organized groups of the 1990s. In addition, he is under US and EU sanctions for supporting Russian aggression against Ukraine.
Against this background, his son’s international activity attracts special attention. The investigation shows that Ivanyuzhenkov Jr. owns a company in the UK associated with operations in the real estate market, and also has connections with real estate in Germany . In addition, until recently he was a co-owner of the Russian company TutorGroup , where his partner was Semyon Kuksov , a person involved in previous Golden Youth investigations , currently convicted in the UK for laundering billions of dollars through cryptocurrency.
There are no formal charges against Ivanyuzhenkov Jr. However, his business connections, international activity and origins raise logical questions: why are the children of Russians close to the government, under sanctions and associated with criminal structures, still able to manage assets and conduct business in Western countries?
The material shows how a new generation of “golden youth” from the families of Russian officials and security forces is mastering business abroad: through offshore companies, shell companies and gray schemes, they are confidently gaining a foothold in Europe - even if their relatives are under sanctions or connected with crime.
