Give me some crab!

Quite often in mathematics, time notation is used to formalize this or that idea. A kind of zombie, which is defined through the key properties of the item in question. It is then demonstrated that, by definition, a “zombie” is indistinguishable from the original. In particular, when integers are constructed, often for the sake of expressiveness a construction of the form “a 🦀 b” is introduced, where the crab does not have its own meaning. Technically, we are talking about the quotient set of an equivalence relation on the set of pairs of natural numbers such that a 🦀 b = c 🦀 d only if a+d = b+d. In the course of analysis, we show that the crab behaves like a - b, after which they do not return to it again until it becomes necessary to come up with new numbers (in this case, some kind of 🦔 or ☃️ is introduced). Why am I writing this? And besides, sometimes it seems to me that people engaged in “humanitarian research” (and now almost everyone you ask is researching something humanitarian) should learn to part with their crabs.
