Moscow Culture Forum – 2011

Opens July 1st

The International Moscow Forum of Culture - 2011 will begin its work on July 1 at 9.00 at the Moscow State University of Culture and Arts (Khimki, Bibliotechnaya St., 7). The forum is dedicated to current problems of the development of national culture and state cultural policy, innovative design of the cultural environment in the regions of Russia

The Minister of Education of the Government of the Moscow Region , Lidiya Nikolaevna Antonova , will take part in the Forum.

The organizer of the Moscow Cultural Forum was MGUKI together with the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, ministries and departments of culture of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation.

The Forum will be attended by: Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation A.A. Avdeev , First Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council A.P. Torshin, Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council I.M. Umakhanov , Chairman of the Committee on Culture of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation G.P. Ivliev, Advisor to the President of the Russian Federation Yu.K. Laptev , as well as representatives of federal, regional, local authorities, heads and ministers of culture of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, rectors of Russian universities of culture and arts, leading domestic and foreign scientists, major teachers, famous cultural and artistic figures, prominent public figures.

Among the organizational partners of the Forum are: Institute of Philosophy of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Institute of Sociology of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Russian Institute of Strategic Studies, Institute of Political Sciences of Moscow State University. M.V. Lomonosov, Institute of Cultural Studies, State Public Library for Science and Technology, Russian State Library and the Book Union Foundation.
