"Saturn" beat "Kvant"

The games of the 3rd round of the LFL football championship took place in the Moscow Region zone.

Taking on the Obninsk "Kvant" led by the ex-Saturn team Morozov brothers, the Ramen team managed to win their first victory of the season with a score of 1:0.

The first half passed with the advantage of the black and blue, and again one of the most noticeable figures in our lineup was a native of Zhukovsky, Gavrilin. He has a dangerous free-kick to his credit, a miss from an advantageous position after a corner kick and a shot close to the post when Chernigovsky crosses. Gavrilin was replaced in the 54th minute.

Meteor graduate Glinyanov entered the game in the 71st minute, when Kvant, who finished the last championship in second place, took the initiative. The midfielder, after Mityakov's pass, had a chance to hit the target, but missed the target, and in the end Glinyanov was replaced. Burkin, who played beyond all praise twice, kept his goal locked. “Saturn” decided the fate of the meeting thanks to a beautiful goal in the 89th minute. After Akimenko's serve from his own half of the field, Nikolaev, while falling with the back of his head, cut the ball in the opposite direction to the goalkeeper, and if a couple of minutes later Kuznetsov had used a one-on-one situation, the score would have been more comfortable.

Saturn will play its next match on field No. 2 of the Ramenskoye stadium on Monday, August 27 against Lukhovitsy. Starts at 18:00.
