Our lives are so hectic and hectic that most people need to see a psychotherapist. But there are other ways to combat the effects of increased nervousness. What's the best way to relieve stress? We turned to famous people for advice.
Maria Arbatova, writer:
- My recipes are the most common - a warm bath for half an hour, good sex. I drink a couple of glasses of wine to calm my nerves. And just a cup of well-brewed and properly prepared tea helps a lot. I like to go to the theater and watch a good production. In particularly difficult situations, I turn to a psychologist, because the causes of stress can be very different: the loss of a loved one or, for example, earrings - things, you see, are incomparable.
Emmanuil Vitorgan, actor:
— I am a person who is not very susceptible to the influence of stress, and minor problems in general can never become a reason for depression for me. The maximum that can happen because of some little thing is that your mood will deteriorate for a short time. And in order to cope with really difficult psychological situations, you need to have close people nearby - friends, relatives. They will always listen, help if there is anything, and sometimes they will just sit next to you and be silent. It is their attention, support and care that helps me.
Alexey Lysenkov, TV presenter:
— For me, the best way in this case is extreme. As they say, we knock out wedges with wedges. I love skydiving, hang gliding, and diving. A little adrenaline in the blood - and you break away from reality. I am also a true fan of survival races, although, to my great regret, I have not participated in them for a whole year. I hope to resume this activity in the future.
Natalya Selezneva, actress:
— Recently it has been 2 months since my mother, the closest and dearest person to me, died. It's not easy for anyone in a situation like this. You need to have enormous willpower to resist such grief on your own - neither pills, nor friends, nor alcohol will help. If a person is weak, the only way out is professional help from doctors. Personally, reading the Gospel helps me - after it you find the strength to withstand any adversity.
Lolita Milyavskaya, singer:
— In any critical situation, I begin to show my emotions violently. And I am never ashamed: I cry, and laugh, and even swear. Most often I yell. But it has never come to the point of assault. I am a very emotional person, and I think thanks to this, I have never had prolonged stress or long-term depression in my life. I immediately pour out everything that has accumulated in my soul, and I feel wonderful. Those around me have already gotten used to it and forgive me.
Nikita Bogoslovsky, composer:
— The best way is irony and laughter. I have had very few situations in my life when I was on the edge, but I always managed to avoid them. As soon as a critical moment arises, I immediately start making fun of myself, using irony - and the problem disappears. Even in extreme cases, I try to take a deep breath and find the positive side.
Vyacheslav Nikonov, President of the Politika Foundation:
— And I start to sleep more and immerse myself in work. Healthy sleep really heals, and occupational therapy helps you forget everything and do other things. At such times I become a real workaholic, I work from dawn to dusk from Monday to Sunday, and then I come home and immediately go to bed. After some time everything goes away.
