Last week, the clearing of space for future elections ended. Catch up with the riot police, barricade all approaches to the city center and that’s it. No one who disagrees with you. Everyone is happy, everyone is happy.
It’s simple: first, uncontested elections when voters don’t show up, then the president appoints heads of regions, heads of cities – simply put on trial so that they understand who’s in charge. And it is clear that in this vein it was inevitable to ban the National Bolsheviks, who agitate the people (note, they do not beat migrants like skinheads, do not shout “Russia for Russians!”, like patriots, but simply call for an active civic position). Apparently, such “dissent” for the current government is worse than outright crime. Remember the Tajik girl brutally murdered in St. Petersburg? The killers were given three to five years. And the National Bolsheviks who came to the Rossiya Hotel, rented a room, climbed the wall with the help of climbing equipment and hung up a poster “Putin, leave yourself!” - for three years. It turns out that for the authorities these actions are of the same order? By the way, a similar outing by activists of Masha Gaidar’s movement on the topic “Give us back the elections!” was regarded as a childish prank.
Today we have not only selective justice. On Saturday, for example, in the center of Moscow there was an action by “nashi”. For this purpose, they blocked part of the Garden Ring, asked drivers to choose bypass routes... In general, they created inconvenience for the masses of residents on a day off so that for some unknown reason, no one knows who would walk around the center with unknown slogans. And “dissenters” – no, no. Moreover, in the fall a peaceful march in memory of the dead journalists was banned. And this march, unlike the “nashi”, did not bother anyone - the colleagues of the victims simply wanted to walk along Sretensky Boulevard (note, along the boulevard, and not along its roadway). This is the kind of electoral life we have now. – both deputies and the president. All accents have been finally placed. Any oppositional manifestation of the spirit is a nail. And that’s why Vladimir Ryzhkov’s party was banned (they say it doesn’t exist – there are only “dead souls”). The activities of Limonov's party were suspended. However, before this, the party, which had never been registered, was generally considered non-existent. That is, there was such an organization - the NBP, but it did not have the right to participate in the elections. Now the National Bolsheviks have no right to anything at all - neither to symbols, nor to life. And finally, in Nizhny Novgorod they showed how to not allow the “March of Dissent”.
