Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Ural Federal District Igor Kholmanskikh gave an incendiary speech to young people at the Seliger 2012 forum. He urged his listeners not to rush into institutions, but to go to work.
For those who don’t know, Igor Rurikovich became a plenipotentiary representative quite recently. Before that, he was a workshop manager at Uralvagonzavod. An enterprise whose products, despite the name, mostly resemble tanks.
So, Igor Kholmanskikh set himself as an example for young people and talked about factory social elevators. What he did not say, however, was that it was not his working specialty that served as his elevator, but a deep deflection - an offer to help Putin in the fight against the opposition: “to come with the men” and “sort it out.” And, characteristically, he got to the plant and rose to the top not from a vocational school, but from the Nizhny Tagil branch of the Ural Polytechnic Institute. With a diploma in mechanical engineering of wheeled and tracked vehicles.
In the meantime, Kholmanskikh was driving idlers from Seliger into vocational schools, for which he has unconditional respect, the Accounts Chamber assessed the cost of his residence: experts calculated that 2 billion rubles were spent on its construction.
– More than 200 kindergartens could be built! - State Duma deputy from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Vadim Solovyov, who initiated a campaign to the Kholmansky Accounts Chamber, is indignant.
To be fair, we note that the construction of the embassy began long before the collapse of Igor Rurikovich. And that in comparison with what is called “Putin’s Gelendzhik palace”, the Kholmanskys’ Ural apartments are provincial cheap.
