On February 15, the premiere of the “Muslims” series will take place, the authors of which will tell everything about the “unfoundedly accused religion of Islam today.” The viewer will be offered reports from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Tatarstan, in which special attention is paid to the everyday side of Islam: we will learn how not to offend Muslims with our behavior, how to learn to get along with them and understand their principles. On January 29, 30 and February 1, the channel will present a retrospective of Ingmar Bergman's early films. These works (in all of them Bergman also acts as a screenwriter) are considered among Bergman scholars and Bergman lovers to be more understandable and closer to a wide range of viewers than the famous “Persona” and “Silence”. In addition to the films “Rain on Our Love”, “The Ship Goes to the Sky” and “Music in the Dark”, we will see an interview Bergman gave in 1998 during a hermitage on the island of Fore to his old producer friend.

Recently a new television company with the old name was registered. The ex-vice president of MTV-Russia and the general director of Teleexpo, Kirill Lysko, took part in its establishment. He also said that the company is designed to broadcast in Moscow and the region and is going to take part in some kind of competition in February. He did not admit who was behind the recreation of “2x2”: he only said that there were serious structures. Well, why don’t you like another contender for the TV-6 frequency?

Two episodes from the “Declassified Century” series are ready for airing at once. Channel One will show on February 8: it will introduce us to different versions of the appearance of the AIDS virus. The most interesting story seems to be about its artificial origin, about the fact that the epidemic is just a monstrous experiment to “cleanse humanity.”
The second episode (February 15, “Henri and Anita”) is dedicated to the love story of the prototypes of the main characters of the film “Tehran-43” - natives of Armenia Gevorg and Gohar Vartanyan, who prevented the murder of the leaders of the countries of the anti-Hitler coalition. In fact, their love culminated in a much happier ending than in the film.
