Psychic battles

TV is becoming increasingly paranormal. They are literally obsessed with mysticism: on TNT the casting of participants in the new “Battle of Psychics” is ending, and on “Russia” and STS new shows are starting with a difference of three days – “Phenomenon” (August 22) and “Medium” (August 25).

In “Phenomenon,” hosted by the shaven-headed macho Denis Semenikhin, 10 people will boast of their extraordinary abilities. But the main characters of the program will not be them, but the author of the project, the magician Uri Geller. He is famous for being able to stop Big Ben through force of will. The parapsychologist also has other tricks in his arsenal: he manages to bend steel spoons with his gaze, repair electrical appliances and stop people from smoking.
A year ago, “Phenomenon” was successfully held in Israel. The show was bought by Holland, Germany, Spain, and the USA. And our “second button”.
“I’ll just sit in a chair and watch,” said the magician at the presentation of the Russian version of “Phenomenon.” – I will be glad if one of the participants manages to surprise me. The winner of the show will be invited to the international finals of "Phenomenon", which will reveal the most omnipotent magician on earth.

Mehdi will help “Medium”

The host of the “Medium” program could well claim victory in “Phenomenon.” Magician Mikhail Tsitlashvili once already tried his hand at another popular project – “Minute of Fame”, where he reached the semi-finals. However, this time the illusionist did not limit himself to the role of a participant in the show, but immediately set his sights on becoming its face.
Actually, the magician already had relevant experience. On one of the channels, he recorded a program for a whole year, thematically intersecting with “Medium”. However, it never aired. Now on STS they thank their competitors for giving them a ready-made presenter.
“The unknown has always interested people, and we will try to fully satisfy the viewer’s curiosity,” Tsitlashvili told Interlocutor. – We will investigate the nature of the mysterious phenomena. Maybe the flying saucer captured on video is not real? We'll check. Same thing with poltergeists. I, for one, believe in all of this. I was present when the objects were moving; there was no one in the room except me. Being a completely normal person, I was even scared then.
The host of “Medium” is just one of Mikhail’s incarnations in this program. He will not fail to demonstrate his supernatural abilities in it.
“I have encountered paranormal phenomena many times in my life,” he admits. – Ghosts come to me, I have repeatedly become convinced that I have the gift of predicting the future. Of course, I will show tricks right in the studio, and difficult ones, with moving objects - I note, without the use of computer graphics.
The winner of the “Battle of Psychics,” the Iranian clairvoyant Mehdi, will help Tsitlashvili with the evidence base. He will begin to explore mysterious phenomena on the ground, and the stories of the stars will complement the semi-fantastic picture. Thus, Viktor Rybin and Natalya Senchukova will seriously claim that they have been in a temporary failure, and Stas Piekha will talk about his difficult relationship with the number 13.
