After the renaming of the police into police, law enforcement officers will have a new uniform, said the head of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs, Rashid Nurgaliev.
“Samples are already ready and will be presented to the general public with the introduction of the new structure,” he said.
We can only rejoice for our valiant law enforcement officers. What a blessing, soon everything will be new for them: the law, the name, and the form. Yes, only the filling, I'm afraid, will remain old. Because, despite the talk about reform of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, crimes committed by police officers are not decreasing.
For example, in the Orenburg region, a criminal case was opened against police officers who tortured a young man for several hours, extracting a confession from him about stealing a school computer. When the detainee was partially paralyzed, law enforcement officers took him away and abandoned him on the side of the road. In the Irkutsk region, a court arrested two policemen suspected of murdering a detainee: according to the investigation, the man suffocated during torture when a gas mask was put on him. In Yekaterinburg, two policemen were killed in drug trafficking. And this is not a complete list of incidents with the cops that happened the other day.
However, Nurgaliev said the other day that continuity must be respected.
True, when he said this, he meant new uniforms. They say that the color scheme for them will be borrowed from the uniform of the police of Tsarist Russia. To connect the times, so to speak.
Well, so that this connection is not interrupted, the policemen (future policemen) will obviously take everything else from modern Russia. That is why they commit lawlessness.
But what can I say? Continuity.
