At the Jazz Town cultural and entertainment complex, the German natural cosmetics company D'oliva organized a party in honor of the coming summer, which was attended by many celebrities. And that evening fashion designer Oleg Naumov presented his summer collection to the audience. We were able to chat with the designer immediately after his fashion show, where he talked about what will be trendy this summer.

– Do you have favorite fabrics?
– I adore velvet in all its forms, I also really love knitwear and, of course, silk. But you can love anything, you also have to be able to work with the material. I have seen few craftsmen who know how to work well with velvet and silk. Here you need to emphasize the peculiarity of the material and at the same time not forget about the woman who will wear your things.
– What will be fashionable and relevant this summer?
– Individuality always looks fashionable and stylish. There is no need to blindly follow fashion and chase it. The most important thing is to have your own taste, it can sometimes be pretentious or awkward, but this is individuality. In my collection there is a very large mixture of styles: sports, modern, and Oriental.
– Who do you sew your clothes for?
“I’m not interested in working for the masses.” I don’t want, for example, to go into the subway and see every second person have some of her things, because my eyes get blurred and it becomes boring. It is much more pleasant for me to see a person in my jacket or blouse in the crowd. Fashion is now so democratic that you can combine incompatible things – both in terms of fabrics and colors.
– And what colors will be in fashion this summer?
– Bright, open colors will be fashionable: red, green, fuchsia, and don’t forget floral patterns. Just as print was in fashion last summer, we won’t get away from it with this one.
– Can you tell me what fashionistas shouldn’t do without now?
– Without a dress, I can tell you that for sure. At the same time, it should be with a slightly high waist, emphasizing the figure of its owner. And in general, I believe that dresses should always be present in a girl’s wardrobe. Moreover, both in hot and cold seasons.
– What do you disapprove of in the lives of modern girls?
– You know, it really annoys me when girls dress too pretentiously during the day, I think it looks ridiculous.
Either the girl has been partying too much and is just returning home after the party, or she got ready so quickly that she is afraid of being late for the glamorous party. You can wear a dress, but have an accessory in your bag that will transform the dress and look very stylish and in keeping with the theme in the evening.
