Actress Elena Proklova decided to get a goat. Proklova had been dreaming about this animal for a long time.
“Our health is in our hands,” says Elena. – I’ll milk the goat myself! Recently I saw a photo of a mini goat on the Internet. She is very tiny, no higher than 50 centimeters at the withers, unpretentious, eats very little, but gives a glass of milk a day.
The popular theater and film actress began to take an interest in mini-goats after one of her friends got such a pet at home.
“She’s delighted,” says Elena. “And I want to have such a goat in our country house.” Such mini-goats are brought to Russia from Cameroon, Africa. However, they tolerate the winter near Moscow very well. They gorge themselves on a glass of rolled oats and a bunch of hay. And they practically don’t get sick. These animals are very affectionate, friendly, and are well trained. Even when kept in a city apartment, a mini-goat can be quickly trained to perform its natural needs in a certain place. And in the countryside, a mini-goat can be used: due to its weak jaws, it is forced to “mow” the grass very carefully and evenly. So we don't even need a lawnmower.
