However, most recently she heard the music for one of them - the song “St. Petersburg” - in a duet by Laima Vaikule and Alexander Buinov. In their version, Aziza’s new product is called “It’s All the Same.”

“For me this came as a bolt from the blue,” show business star Aziza told Sobesednik.ru . – This is the first time such a situation has happened to me, although I’ve been on stage for thirty years!

Aziza admits that she always dreamed of singing Pauls’ song. Ever since she won the song competition in Jurmala, which was headed by Raimonds Pauls. Twenty years later, her dream finally came true! In the fall, Aziza stayed with Pauls in Jurmala for several days with Reznik.

“We were at his dacha and talked for a long time about creativity,” says Aziza . “It was there that they showed me the song “St. Petersburg,” which was called “White Nights.” I immediately said that I really liked the music, but asked to rewrite the words a little. After all, every song of mine has an autobiographical moment. Ilya Reznik composed a brilliant text! And so the song “St. Petersburg” turned out.

Show business star A ziza has been performing “St. Petersburg” in her concerts for several months now, and in early December she starred with this song in several programs.

“Of course, I was very upset when I learned about the second version of the song,” Aziza explained. – I didn’t call Raymond Pauls. I don’t want to once again disturb a person I respect very much. To be honest, I don't know what to do yet.

Ilya Reznik claims that Aziza can sue the famous composer. After all, she has all the rights to the song. Reznik himself was extremely surprised when he heard the duet between Buinov and Vaikule.

“For the songs we wrote for Aziza , she paid us a good fee,” said Ilya Reznik . – Moreover, when the song was recorded, we sent the recording to Riga. Raymond Pauls listened and liked everything. And only then a duet with Alexander Buinov and Laima Vaikule appeared. Raymond Pauls is now having a tragedy with his bank! My lawyers called him about this situation, but he answered them with something incomprehensible. Of course, Aziza doesn’t want there to be a second version of the song. And I understand her perfectly. She made a big bet on “St. Petersburg”! All rights to this song belong to Aziza , we entered into an agreement with her. So, if she deems it necessary, she can go to court. Another thing is that Aziza is a non-conflict person, but she is very offended.

We were unable to reach Raymond Pauls by phone. Rumor has it that due to banking problems (the composer lost about one and a half million dollars), Pauls began to have health problems. But Laima Vaikule does not see anything bad in a conflict situation.

“I don’t know how Aziza ended up with this song,” said Laima Vaikule to Sobesednik.ru. – I can sing this song, I can not sing it. I don't care. I personally don't have any problem. I have enough songs. Moreover, Igor Krutoy once wrote a song for me. But Philip Kirkorov really liked her. And I allowed her to sing. It's called "Only Once". This happens in show business!
