I wish you to fly into space
Due to unforeseen technical difficulties in the operation of the email address putin@sobesednik.ru, we are opening a new mailbox “kreml@sobesednik.ru” on the Internet. Otherwise, the rules of our game remain the same. You can still write your comments, wishes and suggestions to those in power (including the president). We don’t guarantee answers from top officials, but appeals will reach the addressee - according to our verified information, “Interlocutor” is read regularly in the Kremlin. We are waiting for your messages at the new address. Those who want to complain to the president (or about him) in the traditional way can write a regular letter and send it to the “Interlocutor” address (see page 31). Just remember to mark the envelope “Questions to the authorities.”
Well, for now the letters arrived at the old address. Dear nekrasov@roscontract.ru addresses the respected president:
— Thank you for the column, Mr. Putin. It seems your favorite move in judo was the tripping? Don’t be alarmed, I don’t have any particular complaints against you, and I can do without this trick. And I have few wishes for you. Here they are on the list: 1) change your hairstyle, 2) get ready for spring (summer-autumn-winter), 3) fly into space and 4) publish something from the “early” (say, your school diaries).
With warmth and sadness
yours Igor N.,
namesake of the author of the sacramental question “Who lives well in Rus'.”
We received the following letter from a former colleague V.V. Putin:
— Dear Vladimir Vladimirovich!
In all your good endeavors, we, pensioners of special services, will always support you. It is a pity that at the age of 40, not all of us are in demand for our specialty; our experience, gained through hard work in various departments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Federal Tax Police Service of the Russian Federation over many years of service, is not in demand. It is painful and disappointing to see how young operatives are faced with textbook mistakes, losing precious time to identify, document and expose the activities of criminal communities in various areas of government and economics, drug and weapons trafficking, and in the field of sophisticated intellectual technologies.
With best wishes to you Pershin Alexander Nikolaevich, pershing@mail.ru.
