More than seven thousand Chechen conscripts have been registered with the military, but there is no order from Moscow. It turned out that the military registration and enlistment offices of the republic have been working “idlely” for a long time: there is a draft, but no one is sent outside the republic, and in Chechnya itself there is no need for so many soldiers.
