What is the difference between young skin and mature skin? It is well hydrated, elastic, shiny, has an even color and a healthy glow. If all these conditions are met, then the reflection in the mirror will only make you happy. And now for each point in more detail: how to achieve this?
Look at yourself in the mirror. Today you see yourself as you are. Now raise your chin slightly - this is how you were 5 years ago. Now lower your chin and press it a little towards your neck - this is what you will be like in 5 years. If the last reflection upsets you, then it’s time to take a closer look at your skin.
What is the difference between young skin and mature skin? It is well hydrated, elastic, shiny, has an even color and a healthy glow. If all these conditions are met, then the reflection in the mirror will only make you happy. And now for each point in more detail: how to achieve this?
Hydration
How healthy and youthful your skin looks depends largely on its ability to absorb and retain moisture.
To determine whether your skin is sufficiently hydrated, conduct the following experiment: press dry palms firmly to your cheeks for a few seconds, placing the pads of your thumbs behind your earlobe, and then sharply move your arms to the sides.
If there is enough moisture, then your hands should “stick” to your face a little. If there is no such effect, then your skin is “thirsty.”
You can moisturize your skin well with a lotion mask. This idea belongs to the Japanese cosmetologist Chizu Saeki. She recommends moistening cotton wipes with water, wringing them out, then soaking them in lotion (it's worth noting that this is not an alcohol lotion, but rather a light emulsion) and applying it to the face as a compress for 10-15 minutes.
Shine
Young skin seems to glow from within. To achieve this effect, you need to cleanse it daily with a mild cosmetic and be sure to remove makeup before going to bed. Once a week, you can carry out a deep moisturizing procedure: wash your face, make a compress with a hot towel to open the pores, apply your usual peeling to the skin (not to be confused with a scrub!), and put a shower cap on top of your face, in which you have previously made a hole for breathing. After ten minutes, massage your face and wash with warm water.
Elasticity
You can check how elastic your skin is by pinching your cheeks lightly and then observing how quickly it returns to its original state. You can make your skin more elastic with regular massage. By the way, you can massage not only with your hands, but also with a stream of water. Take a plastic bottle with a straw or a hole in the stopper, pour mineral water into it and massage your face with the stream, squeezing and unclenching the bottle.
Even complexion
Another important characteristic of healthy and young skin is an even tone, absence of inflammation and age spots. Do you want to be as fresh as a May rose? Don’t be lazy to do contrast compresses for your face at least once every two days. In the morning or evening after washing, apply towels soaked in hot and cold water to your face.
Healthy glow
It is important not only how carefully and regularly you take care of your skin, but also how you nourish it from the inside. A healthy glow can be achieved by doing daily exercise, walking in the fresh air and eating right.
Take note of skin care products containing rosehip oil - it promotes cell regeneration and increases the level of collagen and elastin.
