Garden work has a negative impact on the appearance of your hands: they turn black, become rough and crack.
To protect your hands, it is better to do all dirty work with gloves. They protect the skin from exposure to soil and water. Give preference to cloth gloves - your hands won't sweat in them.
If you don’t like to work with gloves, then use a protective cream containing silicone. Apply the cream to your hands before starting work in the garden and wash it off when finished. The cream will create a water-repellent film that will soften the harmful effects of soil, water and other negative factors.
Before going to the garden, scrape a little bit of soap with your nails. This seemingly simple procedure will make it easier to remove dirt from under your nails after work. To do this, it will be enough to rinse your hands with water.
You can also clean your hands in the following way: take a pinch of superphosphate and wash your hands with water. After this, coat them with glycerin or Vaseline.
It is best to choose a cream that combines moisturizing, anti-inflammatory and bactericidal effects. By the way, similar creams can be prepared at home. They cook quite quickly. To prepare the cream, finely chop a few sprigs of basil, pour olive oil over them and let it sit in the refrigerator for a week. After this, the cream can be safely used.
You can also prepare a special butter cream that gives your nails extra shine: two tablespoons of butter should be mixed with one teaspoon of olive oil and a tablespoon of glycerin. Mix well and lubricate your hands regularly.
