– Hello, my dear “Health in the Home” and its readers. Once again I want to share my simple natural recipes. Treat yourself and maintain the health of your children and grandchildren!
From heat and cold
Let's prepare a medicinal liqueur from berries. Take 1 cup of fresh raspberries or blackberries and mash them into a paste. Pour in 0.5 liters of forty-proof vodka and leave for 2 weeks in a tightly closed dark bottle, shaking constantly. Drink 50 ml of the drug 3-4 times a day before meals. There is no need to strain it.
If you get chilled in the evening or in the wind, the drink will quickly warm you up from the inside. And if a mild fever begins, it will lower body temperature.
Treating dry cough
If your throat needs urgent treatment, drink warm goat's milk; if you can't get it, you can replace it with cow's milk.
Add 1 tsp per glass of milk. honey and 0.5 tsp. baking soda. Mix everything thoroughly and drink.
Fresh white cabbage juice also helps with coughs. You need to grind it in a meat grinder and squeeze out the juice. Add 2 tsp to one glass of juice. sugar, or better - 1 tbsp. l. honey Mix all ingredients thoroughly and drink the mixture in 3 small sips before meals.
This remedy will also help fight phlegm produced when coughing.
There is another recipe for overcoming a persistent cough. Melt 1.5 tbsp. l. sugar in a dry frying pan and mix 4 large and juicy cloves of garlic with the gruel. Brown this mixture in a frying pan, stirring frequently. Remove from heat. When the mixture has cooled, spread a small, freshly prepared dose onto a small piece of bread and eat immediately. Preferably in the morning on an empty stomach and in the evening before bed.
Cabbage compress
Dip the top leaves of white cabbage into hot water for a few seconds, cut off the rough veins with a knife. When the sheet is dry, lightly sprinkle baking soda on one side. Then cover the chest and back with this sheet. Then wrap this area with thin cling film, and wrap yourself in a down shawl or woolen blanket on top. Keep the sheet longer.
This compress is especially good for children. After all, many kids don’t like mustard plasters, and cabbage in this combination with soda warms up the body very well and helps to quickly overcome an incipient cold and annoying cough.
Did you throw away the cigarette, but the cough remains?
Very often, a smoker, giving up this addiction, cannot cure the cough that is characteristic of all people who abuse tobacco for a long time. I have several recipes that can help with this matter.
Recipe No. 1: 50 g of powdered pine nuts along with the shells, pour 0.5 liters of dry grape white wine and cook over low heat for 20 minutes. When the liquid has cooled, pour it (after straining) into a dark, tightly closed bottle and store it on the refrigerator door. Drink the medicine 50 g 3 times a day half an hour before meals.
The resulting balm cleanses the lungs and bronchi from phlegm.
Recipe No. 2: this method of getting rid of cough is very effective, but only for the brave. If you don’t disdain, prepare this composition. Thoroughly rinse a large glass of live earthworms and fill them with 0.5 liters of alcohol or purified moonshine. Keep for 2 weeks in a dark, warm place, and then strain through 3-4 layers of gauze. Store the resulting medicine in the refrigerator and drink 1 tbsp. l. 3 times a day 30 minutes before meals.
This recipe helps especially well with pulmonary tuberculosis.
To stay awake
When the weather changes frequently and a little gray rain starts to fall every now and then, even in summer you really want to sleep. Drowsiness and constant yawning plague me. I suffered from this for a long time and recently found a great way to overcome this consequence of fatigue and bad weather. Chocolate and cocoa help me. They invigorate much better than coffee. And besides, they improve your mood. Drowsiness can also be caused by a lack of vitamins. Eat more fruits and vegetables - and everything will be fine!
